Wow! That was a tough transition! I like it >:)

Throughout the track I felt like the bubbles were playing this track for me...

P.S. Rawr!

The solo organ intro into the hard-hitting metal guitars and the church bell goes crazy, love the energy all throughout here. Adding in the choir at the end was great for the religious cult vibes too. I do feel like the organ could use a bit more notes especially in the lower registers just to make full use of how grand and epic the instrument is, but otherwise this is a pretty solid track. Great work!

Love the action picking up around 0:15! I feel like there's some really creative songwriting and style here, it just feels a bit light to me overall; like it would benefit from some more layers (even just simple pads in the background.) Regardless, nice job!

Developer(+1)

I will try to keep this in mind for next time, thaks for the feedback

I really like the material and the whole bit baroqueish vibe at times!

Just felt like that you could've had a bit more instruments at parts, maybe just doubling some stuff to help make the track feel more full, since at times it felt a bit hollow because of that to me.

Other thing that came to mind while listening was that you could maybe try adding a counterline to the melody when the organ solo comes again at 1:00, or maybe just add a second harmonized line under it on the second half of the part, that could , maybe help give more energy/momentum to it.

Just some things that came to mind while listening 😁.

Good stuff!

Thank you fort he feedback!

To say the truth, I wonder how some mixing and better VST would sound, because I think you got something pretty cool! There might be more work with layering that could be done maybe, but it works so good job!

Some cool ideas in this. I dig the use of the bells to emphasize the lead tones, and it contrasts well with the guitar vst to really pop out of the mix. The use of the organ throughout  and the choir at the end do a great job of really selling the religious cult vibes - good example of clever choice of instruments to guide the listener in the right direction.

Solid work, keep it up. Best of luck!

Nice track, keep making stuff

No way we had almost the same idea for our games lol

I liked the deliberate instrument choices (organ, bells, etc.), it helps me visualize your game idea better. It reminds me of Dancing Mad from FFVI in some ways. The energy when the guitar comes in at the beginning rocks, too. The cohesion of the track tends to waver a bit--as I listen, it feels at times like two separate tracks going back and forth. Some smoother transitions throughout would help with that. Nice job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I will try to work on that.

the intensity of this track combined with religious-sounding instruments does a great job of conveying the core concept of the game.  good work!

Thanks

I really enjoyed the more church-like instruments, really sending home the cult vibe!

Developer

Glad to hear that the theme was conveyed properly

i was super curious to see what the organ intro would lead into... the main instruments' appearance immediately kept me magnetized! the choice of a slightly dissonant harmony in 1:47–2:02 is intriguing; i think harmonic dissonance can be hard to work with, but given the theme of breaking free from a cult, i can potentially see it working in your favor! ^o^

i'd love to see the organ used more fully, such as having background chords or harmonies when the organ has solo sections!

Hi homie! Gave your track a listen. Your art stuck out to me due to the fact that it too had a chain used in the imagery. The instrumentation of the track is minimal, but I honestly like it. My only thing I can pick on is the harmonies in the lower octaves could be further spaced apart. When pitches/chords are in the same octave the sound can get muddy in the lower register. Other than that, I liked your track, and most definitely with the fact that you used the word chain in the track name too! ^^ 5.5/10 keep on composing!

Thanks for the feedback and the encouraging words

The chimes could have used more reverb honestly. It would make them envelop the listener which would have been great for texture.

Overall, everything just feels a little flat. Like the guitar and organ feel off because they don't feel like they carry any weight if that makes sense?

There were also parts that felt rather dissonant and I wasn't sure if that was intentional or not. I would have loved to hear your thought process during the creation.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. When it comes to the track feeling dissonant, part of it was intentional and the other part was me having trouble connecting my different musical ideas.

I like the drums, but something feels off about the organ I don't know what. Other than that good job :)
