luv me some idle games, artstyle is really cute. gameplay is pretty simple considering its just an idle game, more variety in upgrades would be nice to see.

Thanks for playing my game till the end! It was a great experience making a game. Next time I will defenitely add some music and you are correct more enemies spawn at the end when you promote, but at that point the henchmen are so strong that it is difficult to notice. It still needs some balance. And you are the boss, but you play as a dead beat cop that doesn't want to do any work so he is more of an anti hero haha ;)
I really like the art style and had fun with the idle game. The shop upgrades is really balance, well done.
The only feedbacks I have is sounds attack is abit overwhelming when you reached the end with alot of rookies. I suggest create a Sound manager that other nodes can call the play sound function, this allows you to keep track and limit how many sounds play at a time.
For 1 week, you did a good job! Recommend to add some raining lofi musics and City visual changes as game progressed for your post jam update.
*Ps. I thought I was the only one submitted a mobile game.

Thanks! Good point, I wasn't really sure how to handle the sound properly. With headphones I noticed it was a bit too much as well. Will keep in mind the suggestions. A nice lofi beat could make it even more relaxing.

Hey Sherlock, thanks for the feedback. I guess in the end it didn't fit the theme as much as I would have like as well. Glad you enjoyed it though. The ramp up at the start could indeed be a bit quicker

Thanks for playing and the feedback! Should have made it more clear you can upgrade the rookies by clicking on them (I assume you missed that as of my friends told me he didn't notice that)
