Nice Multiplayer setting. I really like the concept and the idea of the Theme.

Great work :)

At the start the spaceships where a bit too small, I did not see them at the beginning, but then I had quite fun with the mechanics. Reminded me of Asteroids a bit. I liked it, perhaps consider bigger sprites for the spaceships, I think the space is here for them. :-)

The gravity mechanic is super cool. I think there definitely needs to be some sound or other feedback when you get hit by an asteroid, but otherwise nice game!

Submitted

The way the gravity affects the bullets makes it an interesting game! AMazing!

Really cool game, a bit short and simple but you reproduce the Asteroids gameplay very well and the black hole / portal addition is a lot of fun, especially because the bullets travel it and the gravity attraction !

It would have be cool to have a scoring system with an instant respawn instead of a replay button freezing the game to pace it better and track the scores, and if the asteroids splits themselves into pieces like in the original !

The controls were a bit too forced. But the graphics were cool.

Looks cool, but I haven't got anyone to play with. I'll still make some observations tho, first up is that the resolution doesn't seem to be correct, and I can't see the edges of the screen, and the players are not visible from the start. It is also hard to tell which way you're facing, as the front of the ship looks very similar to the back of the ship. I'm also not sure why you'd use the teleporters, they're often close together and seem a bit unnecessary to use. Perhaps there could be some interesting mechanics arising from this, like perhaps you get a speed boost by going into the portal, or  maybe there could be a lot more portals and portals are almost a hazard?

I can't say that I actually played, so no comment on that, but hopefully these little nitpicks can help with polish =)
I also need to mention how nice the spacey graphics are, and the neat ambient music, nice mood!

Fun game to play! The gravity of black holes affecting bullet paths is awesome! Single player mode would be nice though, score by shooting asteroids or something like that.

The game is great. Have some fun battle with my brother. I really like the path of bullets bend when near the black holes. I would be nice if I can boost the space ship.

Developer

Thanks! boosts and shields are something I plan to implement in the future :)

the game mechanics are great! RATED!!

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Liked your game.. Good job.

Developer

Thanks a lot! I will try your game out now :)

Nicely done.

I like that the black holes change the trajectory of your shots when they get too close.

The portal concept is also very fun.  Though I found that the floaty nature of the ships made it hard to use strategically.

Overall, a very good game, with some very fun concepts!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I will look into more moving mechanics to give the player a more controlled feel :)

The players were really small so it was hard to even tell where they were at first, but once I figured it out I had a pretty good time! Liked the wormholes in the middle and thought the collisions when the ships hit the asteroids felt really nice

Developer

Thanks for trying it out! Player size is my biggest critique so far :)

Floating around made it more fun to shoot each other. Good design!

Developer

Thank you!

I only played alone. The graphics look nice. I really like the way the bullets bend. In the beginning I couldn't find the players but then I figured out what to do.
Nice work!

Developer

Thank you the physics on the bullets was a fun mechanic to implement. I will make sure to check your game out as well :)

i already played your game and rated it

thank you for the feedback

Developer

Thanks!

i didn't have problems with the screen limits like the others so, thats good(?) Sadly i dont have someone to play with... but that doesn't mean that i cant play for a while and see the mechanics. I am very impressed with the curve that the bullets make near the holes. good job ^^

Developer

Thanks!! the screen issue is with monitors that are not in a 16:9 ratio. Glad to hear you enjoyed the mechanics even though you played solo. Thanks for trying it out I will make sure to play yours now :)

Submitted

I was impress with your black hole implementation, how it could not jut teleport things, but curve the direction of your fire! I think the size scaling of your game could go up a little, things are a little too small to see, and it makes the game feel slower. Still very impressed and I think you did a good job!

Developer

Thanks a lot! the size seems to be my biggest flaw so definitely one of the first things getting an upgrade once jams over :) I will make sure to check your game out now!

Submitted

Seemed alright, but can't really say much about the coop experience as I'm just playing solo.

Developer

Well thanks for playing!! I will make sure to check your game out!

Nice multiplayer game!! If there was a single player with other player as NPC it would have been fun!! Nice Entry :)

Developer

Hey thanks for playing! I wanted to focus on the multiplayer aspect for the jam since I felt it had an increased level of fun, but single player will be added in my future, thanks again!
