This game has such a good esthetic to it! I love the retro art style! How the castle over time expand to the tiles you are placing looks and feels amazing! I would love to see more of this game!

How does your game fit the theme?
My game fits the "Built to Scale" theme by giving players the power to shape the city's growth through strategic placement of landscape tiles, which scale the city's resources and development based on the terrain I create.

Promising concept! As other have said it's not easy to understand what's going on, but even with that it was kind of hypnotising watching everything evolve, so I played for a while... Great work, keep it up! :)
Excited for the update you mentioned as right now the game looks interesting but I have 0 clue as to what is going on!
It reminds me Dorfromantik a lot, which is clearly a good thing! :) Very nice aesthetic too! It may need some feedbacks but it's clearly a very great job jam-wise! :)
As some people already said, game lacks a bit of explanation, but it looks very nostalgic to me. Maybe would have been better to just have a free mode to mess around and create your own landscape with the sprites
The tiles look like if Loop Hero was made on hexes rather than squares :)
Pleasing to look at, too bad there's no sound/music to complement the fantastic looking graphics.
The "Expand wisely, grow strong!" part was a bit rough for me, since it was really tough to strategise because it's not easily readable/understandable what each tile does and why it can/cannot be placed in a specific place.
The aesthetics are on point, beautiful! But I needed some description of the tiles to enjoy it better, sadly :^(
Great concept ! I didn't get it at first and still not sure how to read the UI but I enjoyed the game a lot and seeing the city growing is very satisfying ^^ I wanted to play only one game and ended up spending a good 10-15min on it. Great work!
Ìnteresting concept and nice take on the theme. It reminds me of Citystate, which I really like - and just like with that game, I was pretty bad at this haha. I like the art very much, although at some point I find it gets a bit cluttered, that being said, it's impressive for 96 hours dev time. I saw that you want to work on it more. Very curious to see where you will take it. Keep up the great work!
Reminds me of a civ scale version of Majesty, enjoyed the art and the indirect gameplay!
This game reminded me of a mix between Civilization and Loop Hero. It looks very beautiful, but it's missing descriptions for the tiles, making it hard to understand the purpose of each one individually. However, over time you start to figure out how things work. It's a good game, and I recommend continuing to develop it.
Thank you! Yes you make a good point about references, it's true that these are the games I focused on and also Dorfromantik, but the mechanics inspired by it I had time to make to a lesser extent.
I'm working on it next. I think by the end of the voting I will have a good and most importantly understandable build of the game ahahh
