very cool retro vibes. the controls do feel unstable, but not very intuitive. I would offer different control schemes like following the cursor or experiment with different camera angles, maybe one that follows the player like in F-ZERO. 

Fun street racer. Cool graphics, cool music, and the gameplay is also pretty good too.

Really great little game! Certainly a strong contender for top 10!

I was not very good at the game because I had my fair share of problem with the controls but the presentation is fantastic and much better than expected for a game jam. The CRT-effect was a tiny bit too intense but that's just personal preference. Overall I think this is a very good entry!

Nice graphics and sound! Liked the controls too. How it fits with the theme I don't know but liked to play it :) Some Slicks n' Slide vibes from the days of yore... And of course the first GTA.

Very polished game, amazing  graphics, great work.

I love the top-down graphics; they remind me of GTA1 for the PS1. I've played the Newgrounds version of the game, and while the visuals were excellent, I had some issues with the gameplay. If you are planning on updating the game in the future, I'd recommend zooming the camera out so that the player knows where they are going. As for the controls, I think you want to increase the car's traction so that the player doesn't slip and crash into the walls.

To anyone having trouble with the game. The corrected version is on newgrounds if you want a clean none buggy version. I was too in a rush to get my account sorted trying to upload this game to the jam I chose the incorrect version. Love the retro style, the characters arts are incredible and the game is fun and responsive. I think the camera is too close though, but I get that's a stylistic choice. Overall high level presentation and polish, great work!

great game but I think there should be a minimap or something to tell which direction we have to move because I kept crashing  at the turn  lol
