You made Terraria in under 48 hours! Hahaha, but in all honesty, I really enjoyed my time with this game, digging was very satisfying and I love the sound effect for it. I ended up digging really far down and I couldn't dig anymore, I was just floating in the air, I don't know if that was supposed to represent me hitting the bedrock or if it's a bug. Great game nonetheless!

Thank you! Yeah I just placed some colliders around the world so players could not fall down forever. Placing a bedrock sprite along the bottom would have been a great idea though, I did not even think of that. I actually chose that name because is is a Shadow of Israphed reference.

Nice relaxing game :) lovely art style, and ominous ambient music.  great work!  One of the more polish jam games i've seen! :D

Wow, you put a lot of effort into the game. It reminds me of Terraria/Starbound.^^ The digging is sometimes a bit glitchy. Are there some kind of invisible obstacles or barriers which can not be destroyed?

Anyways,  great entry. :)

Thanks! No the colliders are just a bit buggy, creating 2D colliders from a procedural mesh is actually more difficult than for 3D games somehow. And there was definitely not enough time to make that work perfectly.

At first I found the mining a bit fiddly because sometimes there would be just a small bit of ground left that impeded my progress. However, after I got the first upgrade it was much better. Maybe I just figured out how to do it right. In any case, it was rather relaxing digging around to find precious minerals, and I like that you gave him what amounted to a mini jet pack to help with getting out of precarious situations. Also, the ending was pretty cute.

Thanks! Something like a jetpack would have indeed been cool, but pretty hard to implement with the limited time. That's why I allowed placing blocks.
