Really cute and satisfying game! I loved the ending... I'd say I personally needed the diamond to be more of an effort to find though but then again not everyone is a tryhard xD

Yeah it's a jam game so most people will only play it for a few minutes, so I did not want to make it too hard.

the sound effects for digging and gathering are quite pleasing - i thought the game was quite relaxing

Thanks! I actually spent quite some time with the sound effects to make sure they would be distinct and would not become boring or irritating.

Great work for the game jam! for me (im colourblind) i found it quite confusing when finding materials so i mined everywhere and and anywhere but good job!
oh yeah I guess my game is horribly inaccessible. I wanted to use different materials but could not get that done in time, I'm sorry. Thanks for playing my game though! :)
haha no bother, there's only 48 hours but its still good work though! its why in my jam the colours are very garish

Nice concept, fun to dig around. I ran into an error that crashed the game when I mined some diamonds, unfortunately. Really nice graphics.

I liked the game :) It crashed once, after I got my hand on the 3rd upgrade, but I played it again, until I get all upgrades. It's all in all a good game and enjoyable to play =)
This was a pretty fun game. Managed to get to the diamond and I'm glad you posted the cut scene in the comments so I got a chance to see the ending. Great job!

This is amazing! Did you make this alone in 48 hours? Really impressive. My only critique is that the music doesn't quite fit the mood of the game in my opinion, and the perspective on the houses is off. Overall, a really solid entry.

Oh no I didn't, I got that from OpenGameArt. I just meant that I am bad at finding good music that fit my games.
NOTE: Apparently the game sometimes crashes when trying to mine a diamond. Causing you not to be able to see the final cutscene. If you want to see it, you can watch it on youtube. I also uploaded files with (only!) this bug fixed here: [Removed]. Proof on GitHub, lol.Post Jam Note: The game used to crash when trying to mine a diamond, causing some players not to be able to see the final cutscene. I have now uploaded new files where this bug has been fixed. The rest of the game is still exactly the same.
For what it's worth, I managed to mine the diamond and see then the version you've uploaded for the jam! Fun little game! :)
Good game, I liked the music and the art but I had the same issue as Stranded Cosmonaut that it crashed when I reached diamond. Would like to see this be worked on more though, great job!

It reminded me of looking for ores in Terraria :) Also when I reached a diamond in the web version the game crashed.
Oh that is strange, that did not happen while testing. I cannot upload new files while the jam is still running so i guess I could just upload a video so that people can at least see the final cutscene. Not that it is anything special, but then it was at least not a complete waste of time, lol. Thank you for notifying me of this!
