I really liked the look of the game, its a shame it had so many bugs. I think although the cut scene at the start was really good, a bit more time spend on fixing bugs would have been better

Despite the games issues I experienced like others have said below, I love the art style for this game. Music and sounds were good as well. Would love to try this again after some of the issues are fixed.

this might be a little too late but u can press y to reset

I spent some time with this one and really liked the theme. I wasn't able to accomplish much because I kept getting stuck in walls and had to alt-f4 out of the game to reset. That meant having to sit through all the timed out dialogue each time I got stuck in a wall. Looks cool, I just wasn't able to enjoy it like I hoped I could. The sound and visuals were nicely done though!

I really wanted to love this game!  it has tons of potential! this took me forever to figure out how to use the electron powers properly, cause i got stuck for like 15 minutes, but then once i figure it out i.... sank into the walls and disappeared, it happened twice for me and i just gave up. sorry, There were tons of things in this game that felt super promising!

Pretty fun game and cool idea. I had some issues to figure out how everything worked though. There is sadly an exploit that I used to finish the game. If you stand on a box which is attracted to you, you can jump and it will go up with you. Jump again and again and you can basically fly through the entire game in under 20 seconds.

(Also I accidently posted a comment here which was meant for another game so I hope that didn't confuse you lol)

I really like this, it's my favorite take on the theme. It's super unique, and the idea of being able to steal charge from things is fun, and allows for a lot of sandbox-y shenanigans. The downside of this, though, is that it's really easy to screw yourself over. When you absorb a bunch of electrons and shoot them off, it gives everything a super strong positive charge, which makes the platforming almost impossible. It got to a point for me where I couldn't even stay on the ground to charge myself up because I was getting attracted all over the place.

Super cool, super ambitious, and one of my favorite games this jam. But it REALLY needs a reset button and a little bit of easier platforming.

happy to hear that you enjoyed it, y to reset btw, I kind of forgot to mention that in the game tho, then again the reset doesn't reset the charge cuz I didn't have time to code it.

Solid feedback tho, I was originally gonna make a cap for the charge of other objects, but I must have forgotten

Here's my thoughts. This  game is awesome! But this level design is awful! I very rarely have loved a game that makes me so angry. You put such an awesome game in front of me, then you made it so impassably difficult so that I couldn't experience playing it past the second blue box! Why was the platform I needed to reach always so high? I gave up, because it was better to give up a good game than break my keyboard while playing it. Even worse, this was the most interesting take on the theme that I played this whole jam! Okay, I vented, now I'm done. Great game, especially for your first platformer, but a suggestion for later: make your platformers easier.

Edit: Okay minutes later I cooled down.  I want to say thanks for making this game, I'm keeping it on my computer so later I can try to beat it again. It really is an awesome game. The mechanic to steal electrons is great, and the way falling in pits is dealt with gives incentive to not do it, but doesn't punish you too hard. Being more attracted to objects as you charge up is genius. And from what I gathered from the story the story was going to be good. I think that this game could be a classic if you released an updated version somewhere like steam or consoles. Seriously, this game is good (although incredibly difficult on the platforming side of things). The description, title and thumbnail undersell this game.

Thank u for the feedback, ye I sort of made that platforming bit in the last 30 minutes, so I didn't really have time to test it properly, the blue box requires u to attract urself to it, then go to the block to right, then repel yourself to reach the higher platform, though the difficulty curve was definitely too harsh.

Finally, I didn't really have enough time to think about the description and I kind of rushed the picture, but ill definitely continue to work on it since I really like the concept.
