Welcome to Xanderjam!

Xanderjam 4 - Summer Jam is the 4th Jam in the Xanderjam series. 

My name is Xanderwood and I host a quarterly game jam inline with the changing seasons, what is different about Xanderjam I hear you ask? Well, I will aim to play every single submitted game on my Youtube channel and after the jam has ended I will create a 'Best of the Jam' video and reveal my favourite game from all those that submitted.

Who is the jam for?

Are you new to programming? Would this be your first game jam? Have you been programming for many years? It doesn't matter what skill level you are at, you can take part in Xanderjam. At the very least you'll get some great feedback on your game so you can continue to improve, at best you'll rank highly and maybe even win a place on my 'best of the jam' video and live on in Youtube history forever.

The Theme - opposites attract 

The theme will be announced when the Jam starts and if you are a patron of mine then you'll get the theme 1 day early, please don't start making your game until the Jam begins (yes even if you're a patron). There will be no limitations, just make sure your game fits the theme of the Jam. If you have questions please use the community tabs.

Previous Winners

Gain a place in the Xanderjam hall of fame by either winning the public vote, guest judges pick or being my personal favourite game in the jam.

• You can use any game engine you like.
• You must submit your game before the deadline.
• Keep the content suitable for all viewers (no hateful stuff, or content only suitable for mature audiences).
• You can work alone or in a team, please just credit everyone who worked on the game.
• You must have the rights to use any music or assests that feature in your game.
