I played all the modes. That has to say something. I think it's quite fun to play! The controls could use a little tweaking (that girl moves fast). But a pretty good job all around!

Good arcade game. Liking the background and the juice when something takes damage.
Cool game! One big problem though is that you don't have a shoot cooldown. Standing on the lowest platform and mashing space + W makes it almost impossible to lose.
I enjoyed this game its wasn't too long or too Hard but just right for a game jam. I did really like the atmosphere you created in the game, great use of Music and art to tell a story.
Good idea in this game. I wish there were options of difficulty levels, because I really struggled here. Nice game though, but with some extra polishing, this could be much more! Nice entry!
I like the mashup idea, and the game's presentation is really nice. I like the character sprites, and the screenshake is weird, but combined with the sound effects, makes a unique 'feel' to the enemy ships. (Don't worry, not a bad kind of weird.) I also like that there are two modes, and that each mode has different options based on difficulty. However, while you did give a lot of different wrappers to experience the gameplay in, the gameplay itself was a little bit repetitive. I think this game could benefit a lot from having 2-3 more enemy ship types. Overall though, not bad!
Well done! This game is short, simple, and able to be beaten in a short time. Everything a game jam game should be. I just stood on the lowest platform, jumped up and down, and spammed the fire button. Won hard mode easy. Also, I think I can see the enemies spawning onscreen, so maybe a good idea would be to hide that offscreen. Other than that this was a good game.
