Really fun, couldn’t get past level 9 though… maybe if I spent more time. Really liked the visuals and that there was no deafening sound effects :’). Awesome work!

Developer

Ahah! Thanks! Yes no sound effects so you can play yours in background ;)

Thank you!! I'll follow you advices! ;)

Cool and simple game, I like it! I just wish that there were sound effects, and making the AI move faster would've also been nice because he feels really slow right now.

Developer

Thank you!I already changed the speed in the updated version ;) I'll start working on sound next

really nice game, easy to pick up and I was hooked, so much so I solved all the puzzles :)

just a couple of SFX would've pushed the quality way up, but honestly really great for the time, well done!

The most annoying part was when I knew the distance was the same, but A*'s choice meant the route wasn't valid. E.g., I nearly gave up at this screenshot:

Developer

Thanks!! I'm sorry it annoyed you (I've in mind a "give me a hint" feature) but today I'll get away with "the AI takes the shortest path, doesn't care wichone, it's your duty to guide it!" :D

nice concept idea!

Developer

Thanks!!

This is probably the best example of collaboration with AI that I have seen thus far. Essentially, the AI solves half the puzzle and the player solves the other half - brilliant. It could definitely use some quality of life features such as dragging to draw tiles, improved assets, improved/removed particles, level transitions, and preventing the player from pressing "go" until all the win conditions are met. But you've really already nailed the hardest part, which is coming up with such a clever idea. Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you adonis!! And you are right about the features: I also tought about dragging tiles (transitions and assets aren't there only because I run out of time :D ). I didn't think about the "go" button tough, actually you are right, maybe I can swap it with a "give me a hint" for the harder levels. Thanks for the hints! I love jams for this suggestions

Excellent concept and good execution. Some music and animation could have been nice. Still a very good project. Maybe you could do an upgraded version later with the suggestions. Good luck :)

Developer

Thank you! Yes I'll definitely polish it a little bit!

Submitted

Wow, It's so original! I just really like hexagonal tiled games. Nice job!

if you don't mind, please check our game too!

Developer

Thanks! I'm going to have a look at yours!

Nice game, but I noticed a bug, In 7th level I finished it without visiting with the friend because I wasn't able to find correct route so I gave it a shot and it worked but didn't work on other levels.

Nice game with unique concept which perfectly fits the theme :)

Developer

Wow you are right! Thanks for that, I didn't notice it! From the comments I also found out that level 7 is the hardest, I'll fine tune them but at least for the jam if someone got stuck can cheat and reach the end (level 10). I thought of giving the player the chance to get some help with the levels if needed and maybe give just a lower score. Next time!

Very cool! Tile-based games always fascinate me, and this fits that stereotype. I love the art style and idea for this- I love how Tilly is just straight up naive, and that's all the description we get XD, and just generally this game is pleasing to look at and play. Very well done!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! I had a lot of fun destroying my keybord with your game too!

Submitted

it lvl 5 is impossible lol, fun game tho!

Developer

You were almost there! Yea I though about giving 1 extra tile the make it easier, but all levels are solvable!

Submitted

That's awesome dude

Developer

Thanks! I'm going to try yours right now

Wow, really cool idea. At first I was like... isn't this just the standard a-star-algorythm? But damn, you made this into a feature. Thumbs up!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! I just left a comment on your game as well, very immersive!

Wow, this game really caught me by surprise. I did not expect, how much fun you could have with such a simple mechanic. The puzzles got quite complex too, at least I had to try a bit longer for some of them. I can easily see this turned into a mobile game, hopefully also delivering that promised story DLC!

Submitted

Also I am wondering: How did you decide which path to take, if there are multiple shortest paths?

Developer

I'm really happy you liked it! Yea a couple of puzzles are a little bit more tricky but because there are not a lot of levels I tought it could be a little bit more challenging.
Eheh! The story will be amazing.

Ps: if there are multiple shortest path its not a problem for the puzzle itself, in symmetrical levels there are always enaugh tiles to block in a symmetrical way. Otherwise is "usually" clockwise from top-left.

Interesting little game, good work :)

Thank you!

Amazing, ignoring the graphics this is my favorite game so far ! i played till level 7 and really enjoyed it .The idea is amazing ,I haven't seen anything like it before and fits the topic perfectly ,If only the graphics were nicer . Keep it up !

Developer

Ahah! Thank you very much! For the graphic I get it from Kenney (www.kenney.nl) which I think has awesome assets expecially for game jams, but this is not the art that I had in mind for the game. I tought I would have found more choice to choose from for point-top-hexagonal grid but I really struggled with that!

Submitted

A tip for using kenney assets ,they nearly always include a .svg which you can input in an online converter to export as a high quality png to get higher quality images .

Developer

Thanks a lot!
