Really good game concept! You did a very good job for your first game jam game! :-D

Art and music is good! You can probably add some risk vs reward mechanic, as I could just die infinitely to pick up more coins which is no fun. It could be a timer, for example, so I'll have to decide if I should die for more coins but risk not finishing in time and loose it all. Nevertheless, a good game considering how early you've submitted it

Well done!

pretty good, wanted more, but you submitted very early so well done :)

A nice simple concept. The art was great and it controlled really well.

Good concept, liked the visuals and thought it was pretty unique! Found the running sound effects to be repetitive though (or was it part of the sound track?). However, the background music was nice. Overall, it fit the jam theme very well. Nice job! :)

Developer

it was a part of the soundtrack. I noticed myself that the soundtrack synced with the running.

The graphics are so adorable! I think you came up with a neat concept, but it took me a couple runs before I understood how you implemented the theme (I didn't read the description beforehand).

My one concern is: Once you figure out the mechanic, what stops you from intentionally slipping on the very first puddle a hundred times just so you stack up your score? :P

Pretty good for just one day of work though!

Developer(+1)

Oh but you didn't notice that the puddles actually disappear after you slipped on one! Thanks for your feedback though

Submitted(+1)

Oh! I genuinely thought the puddles were randomly generated each time.

How did I not notice that? xD

Nice art and music! Havent seen a concept like this in any other submited game. Good Job!

Really good idea. I love the art and sound

I like the concept :)

The concept is a very unique take on the theme. It does depend a bit on luck as a puddle can spawn directly underneath a pile of coins...

But overall, Interesting Concept! Liked it a lot!
