The graphic is amazing, and the idea is simple but fun. Good job!

The visual style is so good! And I like the sound and music too. The vine game was actually my favorite. Bugs for some reason always got me though
Fun wario ware inspired game! The vines game felt a little hard to control, but other than that it was a good game!
It looks really pretty and the sound effects are great too. I agree with the others that the minigames get a little repetitive and the bug swatting one is really hard, but overall I did have a fun time playing.
Love the art work, especially at the beginning. Pretty good mini games but swat the bugs is tough lol.
Very cool. I loved the little comic at the beginning... So beautiful. Great art.
And I liked the concept of the game. The endless runner with puzzles in between. I mean, I hated the bug swatting one, but I think that's all part of the challenge of the game. (those stupid bugs! ARGH!)
:)
Overall, super well done. You should be proud.
Good luck with the jam.
The art was really good, especially the intro which was just amazing. The mini games were pretty fun as well, but a bit repetitive. That's what you get with a game jam though. All in all very cute game.
Had a really great time with this entry!
Short and sweet, the graphics are amazing, the use of the "4 Color Palette" made this so charming, with the dithering for shadows.
Also, seconding what everyone else is saying: the comic book style intro looks AMAZING! Excellent work :)
Amazing use of color, the intro sequence was superb! Cute little minigames as well! I would have liked to be able to cut more vines at once, but I got through in the nick of time!
That intro just looks incredible ! The whole visual design is great ! Great use of your color palette. You can hardly notice that there's only 4 colors in there.
The gameplay get repetive very fast and could use some variety in the number of minigames if you're planning to expand it after the jam.
Apart from that, really solid entry. Great job !
Thank you so much!
I totally agree! We had a long list of planned minigames, along with items to boost speed or hinder the beast, and the ability to choose paths at cross sections. However, being new to the engine, we ran into some hurdles that took up more time than expected, so we had to make some cuts.
Really good looking intro !
With your graphic talent, a view playing with depth—placing the pursuer in the foreground, the main character in the middle ground, and the obstacles in the background, simply adjusting the zoom level—could have been more immersive.
The sound design could surely plays a more important part to increase the tension.
The main game play based on mini games works, but surely need some variety.
Was fun to play, Well done.
Thanks for the feedback, we plan to make some more mini games, just to learn more godot.
A new Level design with that view would works great, more detailed sprites can be used … an other good view would be to put the enemy in the background and the play is running down like in some Crash Bandicoot levels, you would see the enemy coming closer.
Absolutely love the art style and the cut scenes at the beginning! I found to be a little touch to play with my trackpad and I didn't realize until a few obstacles in that the dog could still get closer to me while I was at the controls screen before each mini game.
Hmm... it works quite differently from Gamemaker. I've only dabbled a bit in Unity, Gamemaker, and Godot, but here’s my take:
Gamemaker is excellent for 2D games and easy to understand, though I find it a bit more restrictive. I personally think that Godot is more versatile with its node-based system. Its primary scripting language is similar to Python, but you can also use C# or visual scripting if you prefer. That said, it does take time to fully understand how everything fits together.
One of my main issues with Gamemaker is the lack of an Animation Tree system. Godot has one, though we haven’t had the chance to fully test it yet.
Personally, I prefer Godot overall so far.
If you want to give Godot a try, I highly recommend watching some introductory videos and after that quick tutorials on what each 2D and UI nodes does ( search "godot nodes explained" in YouTube) or checking its docs — it was a huge help for us.
The graphics are beautiful, intro is super I realy enjoyed it. The idea of minigames is indeed fun
