At least one needs to be used. Sounds will be released closer to the jam start date. Here's the first pick a sound jam, you can see great uses of the sound effects here. https://itch.io/jam/pick-a-sound-jam
The atmosphere of this game is fantastic, I love the design of each character and how their expression changes throughout the wait time. Very stressful at first, but feels fantastic to string together orders quickly! The swing of the music holds everything together throughout the chaos.
Fantastic job on every front, game feels super polished. Well done on this!
The use of the seeds is so clever, and I really appreciated the little flower checkpoints. I was left stumped several times plotting ways to optimize the seeds. It felt very rewarding to maneuver around the map with the stocks.
The music and sound effects were also great choices. Fantastic work on this game!
The atmosphere of this game is fantastic! The strange but cute character sprites paired with the relaxing music makes for calming and captivating gameplay. Great use of dithering on the artwork.
A small detail I liked was when you fill up a flower bed the outline goes away from it. This helped with readability of the map, and I knew once the outline went away I can focus more on defending my lawn. Great work on this!
The mood of this game is super captivating. I love the design of the robot, and how interactive his animations are with his attacks, that was a great touch!
Movement feels super smooth, and paired with the clean animations of the running characters, it was a very polished experience. The music is fitting, and the tasteful drum fills added energy to each run. Great work on this!
Super fun to play it really feels like an angry bee moving around! The game does a great job of rewarding bold choices. The responsive controls allow for satisfying maneuvers around the map. The flower pollination was a great idea, it reinvented some puzzles when i had to go back to the flower a second time.
As someone mentioned, sound effects would elevate the fun environment. Amazing work on this game!
Honored to be compared to such a classic, good ear I did use the NES sound chip for this soundtrack! Would love to have added more powerups, maybe if we continue w the game later on. The movement being tied to click was brought up through the prerequisite, definitely takes a second to master, thanks tons for the feedback!
