At least one needs to be used. Sounds will be released closer to the jam start date. Here's the first pick a sound jam, you can see great uses of the sound effects here. https://itch.io/jam/pick-a-sound-jam

So fire the physics are great. Love the momentum, and chill music too! Good to see Charlotte find some blue collar work

This is dope

Super cool

The atmosphere of this game is fantastic, I love the design of each character and how their expression changes throughout the wait time. Very stressful at first, but feels fantastic to string together orders quickly! The swing of the music holds everything together throughout the chaos.
Fantastic job on every front, game feels super polished. Well done on this!

The use of the seeds is so clever, and I really appreciated the little flower checkpoints. I was left stumped several times plotting ways to optimize the seeds. It felt very rewarding to maneuver around the map with the stocks.

The music and sound effects were also great choices. Fantastic work on this game!

Super cute game from the music to the character sprites! You doubled down on the retro feel here with the controls, I enjoyed how you could aim the shots. The levels introduced the mechanics in a clever and well paced way. I only wish there were more levels to explore. Well done on this!

The mood you have created in this game is super tranquil. Beautiful sprites and great music + SFX, it's full of life!
It took me a second to figure out how to set up the boxes, and the first one I did was by total accident! It felt rewarding to set up new plants. Fantastic work on this!

The atmosphere of this game is fantastic! The strange but cute character sprites paired with the relaxing music makes for calming and captivating gameplay. Great use of dithering on the artwork.
A small detail I liked was when you fill up a flower bed the outline goes away from it. This helped with readability of the map, and I knew once the outline went away I can focus more on defending my lawn. Great work on this!

The mood of this game is super captivating. I love the design of the robot, and how interactive his animations are with his attacks, that was a great touch!
Movement feels super smooth, and paired with the clean animations of the running characters, it was a very polished experience. The music is fitting, and the tasteful drum fills added energy to each run. Great work on this!

Super fun to play it really feels like an angry bee moving around! The game does a great job of rewarding bold choices. The responsive controls allow for satisfying maneuvers around the map. The flower pollination was a great idea, it reinvented some puzzles when i had to go back to the flower a second time.

As someone mentioned, sound effects  would elevate the fun environment. Amazing work on this game!

Definitely best to move strategically, I was launching myself into enemies at first lmao. Thanks a bunch for the feedback!

Hell yeah thanks so much for playing bro!

Honored to be compared to such a classic, good ear I did use the NES sound chip for this soundtrack! Would love to have added more powerups, maybe if we continue w the game later on. The movement being tied to click was brought up through the prerequisite, definitely takes a second to master, thanks tons for the feedback!

The movement felt nice and responsive, and I thought it was cool you can unlock different setups for your ship. Well done on this, fun space shooter

The way you have it configured for mouse input only was clever, very complex even with this limiting prerequisite. I loved the art and the vibe of the game, just that sound effect when you bump into stuff is so loud LOL! Great work on this

Super clean art style, I really loved the shadow effect! Sound effects + music were great too, nice work getting retro feel!

I really liked the control panel set up you had, it was cool to have the driver POV! It was difficult to navigate the grab, i was always way too early or late. Overall super fun though, well done  on this

This is a funny and creative take on the theme, I really liked it! I think it would help if there were a visual indicator for the rhythm

Appreciate it bro glad you enjoyed playing!

These 3d models are sick, I had fun playing. Would have loved to see more enemies, nice SFX too.

Thanks a ton bro glad you enjoyed!

The music sounds like Spamton's theme? I think your idea with the vortexes was fun, good work!

The intro music is fire. The 3D physics are pretty good, the energy felt kinda like Subnautica to me. I thought the radars on the side were a cool touch, you guys all did awesome!

Very smooth gameplay, feels polished. Love the screenshake, you brought this concept to life nicely

This was trickier than it looks, fun concept I enjoyed it! Cool use of the mouse buttons, I like the slo mo

Game needs more cookies, but still fire

The concept is great, I love the idea of each area in space having its own prices/economics.

Dont worry bro, Pick-A-Sound 2 coming soon

Love your use of the sound effect, makes dropping the gems extra dramatic...

It's clear you have a knack for game design, clean art and pretty palette. Obviously, wish you had more time to add in some more features. Will check out your other games in the meantime until the next jam!!

I really appreciate a good idle game, its been perfect to have going on my second monitor
The artwork is fantastic, loving the visuals! Your interpretation of the theme is intriguing and fun. Gameplaywise, it would have been nice to have a tutorial of some sorts... I found it difficult to understand how the upgrades were working at first and what my goal was. I was able to understand the mechanics from checking our the comments, though.
Your subtle use of the sound effects was pretty tasteful, and I really like the music choice. Its nice that you made the game save your progress, that was a pleasant surprise. Super good work on this!

This game took more strategy than I originally anticipated... everything changed when I started moving the boxes around!

The art style here is really fun, it feels clean and cohesive. I love the music made, it fits the mischievous rats super well! For such a simple idea, the moving boxes makes it a whole lot more interesting, that was a great idea.
Fun to have a leaderboard on here too. Awesome work!

That jumpscare got me good the first time lmfao, terrifying design on that monster...

I love the menu screen music you have, sets the scene for a spooky night shift. The gameplay feels super smooth, the movement is very responsive, and the sprint cool down while ANNOYING (got me killed twice...) was perfect for the gameplay. The blood toggle on and off is a nice touch.  Cool of you to include the source code too!

Your use of the sound effect is enticing, turned it into a super creepy ambience with those clicks getting nearer and nearer. If you continue with this, consider some more artwork to sell the ambience. I want to know more about this creepy warehouse! Great work on this.

Space rent prices going up all the time smh... Really fun concept, I loved your use of the sound effects to indicate the values. Hearing a high pitched one got me hyped, and the mechanics for aiming at the cubes was very smooth.
The art is simple and clean,  the little house is too cute. I think your idea for the powerups was great, I would have loved to see more of them! Your choice of music was very fitting as well, I enjoyed it accompanying my space quest.

Great work on this, hopefully something gets done about space inflation!

Cats was the shadow theme of this jam... for this you should get bonus points

Such a cute game, they all deserve a raise. I appreciated the different scenes, felt very cinematic

The song's use of the green sound effect was super nice, the music totally paints the atmosphere here. I felt the rhythm of the gameplay was slightly off at times, but it seemed to always come back around. Amazing aesthetics, really enjoyed playing!

I got 44!
This game feels great to play, even with the unique keybinds, it kept me on my toes. For your second one, its very  impressive how smooth this game runs. I like the RBG, staying on theme with the Pick-A-Sound colors lmao! The way you edited the green sound suits your use of the sfx very nicely.

I started trying to click the coins on beat with the song 😎 Great work on this!
