This rocked - nailed the interpretation of the theme, the mechanics were unique & fun, and loved the design. Thank you so much for participating!
Thanks so much for taking the time to review my game! Your insights on the theme interpretation, mechanics, and design are really valuable!
:D
:>
Really creative idea, fun mechanics!
I'd say the game can use a few tutorial levels, the instruction panel was good but interactable tutorial are always better, Other than that the only problem I have is that the game is too short, was a blast playing it overall. Good job!
Thanks, dude! I'm glad you highlighted the creative idea and the fun factor. And yes, you're right, I wanted to include a tutorial level that wasn't as abrupt as the first one, but time wasn't on my side this time.
I really appreciate your feedback! :>
Really clever use of the theme. Took me a second to get the hang of it, but was able to complete all the levels. Really like that you provided "red herring" pieces as well. One suggestion if you were to take this game further would be that putting a cold on a blue square makes it even smaller, or even disappear. That way you could mix up not only shrinking them, but making them disappear (and vice versa with multiple hots making things extra big). Great job!
Thanks for your feedback! Man, those are really good suggestions, that could make it more fun and diverse! I will take it into account and once again thank you for your feedback and taking your time writing this review. :>
Really enjoy the creative idea of the game. I was a bit of 'huh' at the start, so the gameplay info helped me a lot. Overall, it's really nice and intersting (*^â–½^*)
It makes me really happy to know that the Gameplay Info. was that helpful and that you enjoyed my game. ' so thankful for your support! :D
Really good theme interpretation! And the game feels quite polished! Congratulations!
Thanks a million, pal! It makes me feel really proud with the results of my idea! :>
Creative idea, I like the use of theme very much.
Level layout could be a bit clearer to read - I mean background looking a bit like solid ground at first sight. The path line seems unnecessary (on the last lvl it's somewhat invalid).
' very grateful for your feedback, those are good points that I'll take into account! :>
So as I appreciate your opinion 'bout my idea and theme interpretation :D
You really think so? Damn, thanks for that!
' so glad it was fun and a great concept for you.
I hope to soon be able to expand this concept :>
Short and sweet! Perfect for a jam game. I could see this concept being more fleshed out and polished with more levels and gimmicks
Thank you! I'm so glad i'm receiving those words from you. That's what I wanted to do, a short but enjoyable experience, and I would be happy on providing more content from this game. :>
More levels PLS
Ikr! Hehe. That was very time-consuming, but if I expand it with more levels, I'll let you know! :>
Nice little game. The theme is implemented very well, nice graphics. I think it would be better if after losing the level did not reset completely. Good job!
' really appreciate it, man! You're right, that should give a better game feeling. Thanks for the feedback! :>
I really enjoyed this game! Review left! I would be happy if you came to rate mine!
Thanks! I played yours too, and it was very fun as a simulation. I'm glad you enjoyed my game and thanks for your support. :>
Very cool game! Unfortunately, the game ended just as I was starting to get invested in it, but I get it, this is a jam game, and I know how hard and time consuming it is to design good puzzle levels (I learned the lesson with this https://oddeyes.itch.io/squareish), so I can't really blame you.
I hope you will "expand" (pun intended) the game in the future because it was really fun!
If you do, here's a couple of suggestions and ideas for new levels:
Again, the is very nice, loved the animations and the concept, reminiscent of the "Mario vs Donkey Kong" Nintendo franchise, let me know if you add more levels as I'm looking forward to play more of this :D
Thanks for all your feedback! And, wow! You went all out on writing such a thorough review of my game, I really appreciate it. I'll definitely take your suggestions into account, they're super helpful, and if I ever expand this project, I'll hit you up. Thanks for the kind words. :>
A good game that I can see plenty of more potential puzzles, short as it was, I was experimenting on how to solve each puzzle and use a lot of trial and error, so it got my brain working.
while the theme of 'expanding' is present here, it kinda defeats the purpose with the ability to shrink, fits more or 'growing and shrinking' when the theme is more focused on the growing.
aside from that, good job.
I really thank you for taking your time on exploring the possibilities of the puzzles and your feedback! :>
The theme, well, I know I slipped a little but that's it
short but great puzzles!
'ppreciate that, pal! Each level took me like 20 or 30 minutes to do 😅
What a cool and interesting game!
Thank, you! Yours too! The puzzles were great :>
The puzzles were interesting. I liked them, but they were too easy because of the short duration of the game.
Ikr! But thank you for playing and giving your review! :>
A bit short but cool idea!
Thanks! Yeah, hehe, I know... the time wasn't my ally in this occasion :'>
I forgot to include the credits... but I swear I made all assets. Except for the BG music which owns to this video: https://youtu.be/AbXO8FYNmQA?si=_nXrWc0FIuXM9dbJ
