I love the sword, it’s so fun to use because of how epic and overpowered it feels! Still, I kept dying a lot to the enemies and unexpected traps. Then I just started to have my sword drawn at all times, it makes the game way easier!

My only complaint is that the camera zooming in and out when you’re killing an enemy is kind of annoying.

But otherwise very fun and challenging game!

is visually good, plays well(jump is hard sometimes), i think the zoom is to close. overall is a great effort

Thanks for the feedback and for trying the game. I really appreciate that!!

Nice game, the "kill effect" is a little bit strange but well done !

Developer

Thanks for trying the game!!

Loved it! Felt really thrilled when I first drew the weapon. I feel like jumps & levels need a bit more polishing: found myself restarting dozens of times because I couldn’t reach something with a jump. Nevertheless, great job!

Glad you like it! I appreciate the feedback too :D

I love the visuals! Killing enemies is super satisfying! The level design is good, except for the random traps. I suggest having the camera more zoomed out and making the movement less slippery. Overall, it's a really great game that has a lot of potential!

Developer

Thanks for playing the game, that's awesome, I really appreciate the feedback! :D

I like the music and visuals. The idea is simple and fun. The controls makes the game really difficult to play, and I was never able to get very far into the game.

Glad you try the game, thanks for the feedback to! I really appreciate that, I'll try to get better better on future proyects.

I enjoyed it, definitely one of the better games in the jam so far. I think a better camera would go a long way though, either setting it to "smooth movement" in godot or just have it zoomed a little more out and not effected by player jumping.

Developer

Yeah, I was having some problems with the camera but that was the "better" result I got at the end. Glad you enjoyed the game! thanks for the feedback too I  really appreciate that. :D

No problem, and for some reason I thought this was a Godot jam until just now. So ignore my Godot comment lol

Developer

Hahaha  don't worry that's fine

Very Juicy :) but couldn't get past Arena 1 because lack of skills or tricky level design lol. Enjoi!

Developer(+1)

Haha that's fine, thanks for playing, have a good time! :D

Hey. I made a video about the Unexpected Jam and decided to include your game into the video. I like it. It took me a while to finish the game. However, I did not give up and got to the end of the game. The only issue I had is that the controls felt very sensitive. If you want me to cut your game out of the video, let me know. However, if you like the video, I make videos for such developers like you every day. I will be happy if you subscribe.

Developer

Wow I have no words I'm glad you played my game, that's amazing! I'm really thankful, you have a new subscriber!

I liked the sword mechanic quite a lot with all the blood from the enemies being very satisfying. It is a little too frustrating with not much room for error with the jump. It is also frustrating to forget about an unexpected obstacle and fall into it.

Developer

Thanks for giving it a try! its my first Game Jam, the feedback is very appreciated.

I liked it... but it was a bit too random and frustrating in spots. I did not get through the first arena right now.  The sword mechanic is magnificent and I love EVERYTHING about that.  I think the camera could be zoomed out just a tad, it's more frustrating to just get smooshed by an enemy seeemingly at random then to have some reaction to their movements.  Careful with the "random" vs unexpected obstacles, it's confusing in spots why I am falling!

Overall, super cool!  I will come back to this later and try to finish.
