Almost 4 minutes! I love the contrast between the horrifying atmosphere and the cute sound effects.

I'm glad that not only are there two End of Daylight games, but that they both used the progression of sunset and captured that ominous feel.
The filter might be a bit heavy, and the weapon balance starts to fall apart once the fairies begin condensing into a massive unstoppable horde (I speak from personal experience), but I like the overall atmosphere, visuals and gradual increase of darkness/difficulty.

it is really simple but pretty neat. award for most intentional antialiasing ive ever seen in a pixelgame while still being playable

the ranged attacks are kinda hard to use since they are just a point at click position instead of traveling on a path and the first one is immediately outclassed by the second which does a surprising amount of damage for how easy to get the ammo is

i also like how the sun sets pretty quickly to give you a bit of time to figure things out in the day but fast enough to not waste time before the big waves

Awesome aesthetic, the lowrez CRT style is perfect for a game like this! Combat system is good but doesn't have a lot of strategy, just strafe and click until the amount of enemies starts to lag the game. Would be nice to have more weapons, bosses, etc. but for a jam it's plenty. The menu music is nice but there isn't any music during gameplay... weird. Also, maybe the flashlight would be more useful if everything was in total darkness, which would make the bonfires safe spots.

Thanks. More weapons and smarter enemies were planned, but didn't had enough time, same with music, as I wanted to make everything myself.
About lighting, I tried to make everything go completely black, but it made it difficult to see sprites, just discern one thing from another and Reimu, probably something with normal maps

The shader is cooool friend! I love the difficulty curve in this game. If there were more weapons and enemies, I could play this game all day!

This just feels like those old ps1 games, very cool, friend.
A cold reminder that faeries are not weak creatures when they attack in numbers, an awesome horror concept, with chilling flesh eating noises, just lovely.

I understand why gohei is slow, is really a killer weapon when used correctly, running around in circles is the safest choice, maybe adding an element to prevent that could make this more interesting.

A fun game! I love the VCR aesthetic of it especially, I think that's my favorite part

Fairy cutely takes a bite out of you.

Interesting lofi aesthetic. Strafing and collecting needles was pretty OP until I got jammed between a mob of fairies and a campfire and couldn't move. Oops. The lighting was great.

The cute dying noises were what got me through the night. (3:09)

Hey, I just played your game. I really like the visuals and atmosphere, it's creepy but comical. I found it a bit hard to hit anything though, especially with weapon no. 2 and I think the weapons could still be balanced. Very cool lighting and screen filter though.

Also it's funny that we picked the same theme from 200+ Touhou songs :)

Glad you liked.

I've made weapons a bit innacurate for horror aspect, but didn't had much time to propertly balance things and drop rates, main focus was lighting (normal maps too) and enemy spawn (difficulty curve and not spawning them in player's face).

I have an excuse that random song page gives End of Daylight for "mouse" seed, and frankly, this song name works so well for game name.
