A randomly generated Zelda-like with a time limit, optional goals and dynamic music? Cool stuff, one of the games I replayed a few more times just for the fun of it. Also whoops I somehow beat it on hard mode because I didn't know there was a shot button until now
Thank you! The game being worth replaying was exactly what I hoped for, so I am glad you had fun. Also congrats for essentially beating it on pacifist mode.
It's very cool, only problem is that this ends quite quickly, I suppose that shrooms opens doors somehow, but I somehow never knew how.
Cool Zelda reference btw
Thank You! Yeah, the game was meant to be short but maybe it's too short.
The mushrooms are rare magical door-unlocking shrooms ;).
i did not beat it because i am running low on time to play everything and vote very sorry BUT i really like the overworld, zelda 1-like stuff you've got going on, the bit where alice gets mad is funny, and inventory cap kinda sucks but i woulda had a massive amount of brown mushrooms otherwise. no idea what improves your shot but its cool that it somehow does
Thank You! Playing through all the games really takes some time, more than I thought anyway :). The small mushrooms increase the shot damage and the bigger ones add effects. I probably should have explained the rules better in general. The inventory cap was a design decision though.
Use of theme was fantastic, exactly the sort of idea I was hoping to see more of from this jam. Really good music too, very nice how it tied into the gameplay. This game is def one of my favourites from this jam.
For me, the best design element was that meteorite chunk (at least I assume that's what it is?) that's worth loads of points but slows you down, makes running back to the cauldron very tense!
Thank you, glad you like the concept! It seems that items with drastic effects are the most interesting. I would have liked to put in more items like that, but I ran out of time and ideas...
I love the way you used the theme, it was very cool for it to be tied to how long the gameplay was
Thank You! That was one reason I chose this song, actually. It has a nice sense of progression to it.

I love the randomization and the extra utility some items have. That has so much potential for expansion too. The music and how it tied into the game mechanic was so good.
Was it just me or did the music have some Zelda nods too?
Thank you so much! I didn't think of Zelda specifically when I made the music. Maybe it's the flute?
Nice one, a little confusing in the beginning - but when get what happening - it becomes interesting speedrun game. Art is vibrant and clear, randomizing always good for replayability. Interesting idea to change shot strength at cost of carrying items which may make you overburden and I like that some (iron ore?) items have special effects like slowing you down a lot.
Why Marisa dies if she doens't make soup out of iron ore until night? I don't know, but I hope adding Alice's pill won't make anything bad happen!
Ha, I agree, the concept is a bit experimental. I wasn't sure if it would work at all, so I'm really glad it turned out enjoyable!
Also I have no idea how I came up with the iron ore. I guess I just wanted a heavy item. Marisa will be fine, I think XD.
sweet little game i did really enjoyed this, the music is too cool (also extra points for using best game making engine)
Thank You! Yes, Godot is awesome, I agree!
really great game thought it was a zelda copy but it has its own twist on it but good game
Thank You! Yeah, I'll admit it ended up very zelda-like.
An interesting concept, I like it!
Thank you!!
That was super charming! Got chills when the music came on and the exploration was pretty fun!
Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you liked it! The music took some effort to make, so it's good to see that it payed off.
