Creative Vision / Rationale / How Did You Incorporate the Theme
Drift is a peaceful, story-driven puzzle game about giving before receiving. In the game, you play as a boy drifting through a mysterious world, where you must offer objects—memories, items, or time—to strangers you meet. These acts of generosity are not transactional; they are acts of trust, empathy, and kindness. In return, the friends you make offer you something meaningful in their own way—tools, clues, or a path forward—that helps you continue your journey.

Beautiful game! Thank you for posting some hints here, I was pretty lost on what to do right away. Overall the aesthetic of the game is incredible, and feels very relaxing to play.

Really good visuals and music, but I was at a loss for where I needed to go or what I was supposed to do.

The starry water was really cool. Great art direction on this one!

Quite amazing environment art!! Very pretty colors. I just wish there were more hints as to what to do throughout the gameplay, got lost a bunch of times. I really like the music too!

Just a chief's kiss to the visual design. It's so good. Super awe. I'd say I want more of it for sure. I hope it would have more on the gameplay itself! Anyways, beautiful work!

COZY. Great work on the 3d models and the atmosphere created in this world. It looks like this game has huge plans and ideas behind it - I found a nice little island with animals with animations that even has a little treasure chest. The music is so comfortable, and the art is very pleasing. Thanks for sharing!

The visual design and aesthetic is phenomenal, I’m in awe! From the look of the water to the colors and textures, it’s all breathtaking! I did have some issue running it on my device, it was lagging quite a bit so I accidentally kicked the boat away and had to restart to get it back. As others have said, I’m also stuck on how to use the boat to get off the first island. I’d love to experience more of the game, so I’d love to come back and edit my comment once I can figure out how to traverse the sea.

Edit: I figured it out! For anyone else confused, you have to collect the 4 items in the crate by the door and only after you’ll be allowed to use the boat. I do think this part should have been a bit clearer in the game, but hopefully more people will avoid this issue! Traversing the water was a fun experience and finding what else was out there in the world. I wasn’t sure what to do when I got to the island with the dead fish when I got to the small tower, but it was still a fun experience nonetheless. I hope you keep developing this, fantastic work!

hi Helen it's Chris!

I really want to experience more of Drift, but after trying for about 10 minutes, I wasn't able to figure out how to use the boat. Is there anything I'm missing?

I can already tell from the introductory island as well as the cover art that the game's visual cohesion and presentation is outstanding. Along with the piano soundtrack, the atmosphere was set up for me to just be pulled away by the experience.

Hope to be able to keep playing!

Edit: I also got the 2nd island and didn't know what to do after

Really fantastic presentation, texturing, sculpting, modeling, colors and everything :D  I didn't end up getting past the first island after the house though, didn't know what to do :<

Very pretty! The composition is on point and the colors are really soothing. I wish there was a little more to the gameplay, but you guys did a really great job!

A gorgeous program, though it may struggle to run on some less capable machines…

When standing directly on top of the vessel, should it rotate, the poor creature’s object space may also be transformed. As a result, the directional inputs will no longer send you along the intended direction.

Really love the art on this one, and the boat is surprisingly fun to zoom around in lol. I had a couple small issues figuring out the controls, but that was offset by how impressive the world you put together is! Great job!
