Creative Vision / Rationale / How Did You Incorporate the Theme
The game explores generosity through a choice-driven journey. The player gains five powerful crystals to help rescue their missing wife.
Along the way, they meet NPCs in need and must decide whether to give up a crystal to help them or keep it for themselves. These decisions impact the story and ending, showing that true strength may come from selfless acts, not just personal power.

I realized I played this game and never interacted with it. Firstly, it's just super fun. I had a good time with it. It is done well. The gameplay feels smooth, the 3d animations and models are incredible. The multiphase boss fight is phenomenal. Having generosity as a difficulty slider is a super unique take. I think the writing could have been more impactful and thought out more, but if my only real complaint is the writing, then you have something spectacular. Incredible work!
Really well made fighting game, and great incorporation of the jam theme! I found the fighting to be really satisfying, and while it did get more difficult after giving crystals away it wasn't incredibly difficult.
Thank you for playing! really appreciate your time and the feedback you've given us :D
For some reason it took a while to load on the browser. I left it there like I don't know 10 minutes to load? But thankfully it loaded, because I tried to play it a couple of days ago and it wasn't loading.
I love this game. I am not very good at fighting games but the experience was rewarding. The fighting mechanics was really satisfying. I love that I changed my playstyle when I gave the powers away. And thankfully the battles were easy to manage even without any powers. Except the big boss in the end which I haven't beat yet. I wish there were checkpoints just to try again, but I saw that you ran out of time. I also wish there was a skippable button for the dialogue because they repeat themselves (the trader) and when I replayed it I knew what was coming. I've noticed that each time I replay it the camera was rotating in different scenes? I don't know if that was intentional, or was a way to add a randomize element? And in the big arena for the big boss fight, on my last run it was full of trees and rocks, which I am not sure if it was intentional. I thought I finally got to rescue my wife but nope. heh. I love the art style btw :) This was a great game.
PS. I saw that there are different endings but is the big boss fight happening in all 3? I played it 3 times, but I didn't get the good ending. I don't know how can I achieve it. I gave all my abilities two rounds, and still got the boss fight and loss unfortunately. On the 1st run I kept the dash power because I didn't know If I should give the powers or not. Should I give nothing just to beat the boss?
Hey! Thanks for playing our game and we're glad you enjoyed it :D
Loading Game
Our game runs smoothly on PC but we plan to build on both PC and WebGL but due to submission almost closing up we figured building on WebGL is convenient so you guys wouldn't have to download and just play on the spot!
Checkpoints
We initially plan to have a save and load feature and checkpoints too! but we focused on polishing the games and making sure everything works, we're afraid if we added one more feature which is the checkpoints it may create bugs which we try not to risk it. so yea! there's a lot of things we wanted to add but we're focusing on delivering a working game instead but If you're still interested in our game we plan to add quite a few features in the game, this includes checkpoints, attacking while moving and improved storyline :D
Camera Rotating
By camera rotating, It's actually a randomly generated pathways, we wanted to add slightly different paths so when you play the game the level doesn't feel so fixed! so it's not the camera rotating but it's the map generating different pathways each time you play.
Game Endings
There are total of 3 endings and here's how to achieved it
Bad Ending - Give 0-2 crystals away
Good Ending - Give 3-4 crystals away
True Ending - Give All 5 crystals away
Hope this clears out any questions you had and we're appreciate the feedback so much!!! :D
Thank you again for playing our game!! :D
I told my bf to play it because he loves Hades and it reminded me of it. He really enjoyed it. He liked the controls and the art very much :) He got the good ending.
Woah!! We're so happy to hear someone who plays Hades really enjoyed it! :D Especially that's our main reference for our game!!
we're glad your bf liked the controls, we spend a few days figuring and testing how we're going to implement the controls, Glad it turns out great! We also implement settings to change the controls for the keybinds if you have a different key preferences :)
Thank you again for playing and spreading the game! :D
I like the boss fight having phases! Did the boss stole all the power you gave to the villagers?
Hey Leav! Glad you enjoyed the boss fight with phases! :D
And yes whatever power you gave away the boss will have it! making the fight even harder but in return you may get a true ending :D
Wow this is one of the best submissions where being generous feels genuinely impactful.
I gave away every power but healing.... and knew I should have given it away too :')
The ending I got felt well deserved, and well written. Over the short game I quickly became emotionally invested. I loved the final boss fight, and when the music kicked on I felt it!
The combat was fun, engaging, and the powers were so fun to use. It made it extra hard to give them away being generous.
You did an awesome job with this and it was a joy to play through!
Heyy!! we're really glad you liked!! :D It always brings a smile to us whenever other developers enjoys our game! Especially when we put a lot of effort into developing the game!
We're glad you liked the story and the boss fight! we plan to expand more on the story after the game jam so it'll feel more impactful by diving into the backstory of the player and how the wife got missing.
Thank you so much for playing and your joy motivates us to improve our game! :D
An ARPG where you have to give away your abilities?! Such a good idea for the theme. I was impressed with how much was added in a short amount of time. The combat felt good and I liked the story. The *shing* when turning to stone was great.
"You want to what?? Help this little guy over here?" Haha that line started cracking me up. I managed to get to the true ending and save my wife. Thanks for putting together such a complete product for us to play through!
OH WOAH! We're really glad you enjoyed it!! and GOOD JOB on getting the true ending!
If you like the combat now then surely you'll like our new updated version that'll released after the game jam where you can move while attacking which makes the combat system more fun!
Thank you again for playing, our team put a lot of effort into it and it brings us joy knowing other developers enjoyed it :D
WOAHHH, impressed by how much you guys pulled off in 3 weeks! Combat is very clean. Wish there was some way to indicate cooldowns, found myself just spamming. Nicely done team!
Thank you!! It was very challenging for us but we were lucky to have the idea and concept for the first few days! :) Production was tough but we manage to pull through and cut down a lot of things!.
Ah yes we originally had the cooldown timer showing above the ability but thought would be better removing it due to UI Clutter but hey maybe we might add it back in!
Thank you again for playing!! :D
You guys did so well! Not sure if this was what you guys had in mind initially, but I was more so envisioning one of those opaque circle timers around the skill (doesn't indicate # of seconds, but gives a general idea). I know this is not the best description, but I hope it's understandable LOL.
OHHH I get what you mean now! That's actually a good idea! We'll definitely have that in our updated version! :D
Really enjoyed it! I like how you guys incorporated the theme, especially the different endings we can choose! I played it until I got all the different endings. Giving away your crystal really challenges you to fight differently afterwards. I regret giving away my dash right away Hahaha. I really like the 3D style approach you guys went for too. I'm excited to play more if you guys continue developing it!
Great ideaa of giving up your power to help others! Artworks looks awesome. I wish there are more checkpoints so I don't need to start from the beginning. Great work overall!
Thank you for playing and the feedback! :D
We do actually planned to have a checkpoint but due to time we decided to scrap that idea to avoid getting a bug :)
but in the future definitely will add it! :)
loved the art style
Thank you! :)
hey it's Chris -
Something funny / sad happened with my run. I wanted to choose give power for everything, but on the 4th one (stone skin), I stood a bit too close towards the middle and it registered the keep power instead.. I still finished, knowing what awaited me (of course, the non-happy ending). I felt a bit unjustifiably punished for it :(
It was crazy you guys pulled off a fun ARPG in 3 weeks for a jammy. Towards the end, I felt that the game adequately addressed the jam's theme too. Great jammy work!
P.S. the most damaging combo is just left click.. wait for animation reset.. and left click again--since the last swipe pushes non-boss enemies too far away!
Hey Chris!
Thank you for playing we're glad you tried to get the True ending and that's unfortunate that it registered you to take the keep power instead :( I guess the shopkeeper really didn't want you to get you the true ending haha!
Yes for this version the attacks I get that it knocks enemies further away so you choose to attack once and wait for the animation reset, We actually have an updated version where the player can move while attack which makes the combo more useful! but for this current version what i like to do is stand around the enemies and attack on different directions so i get the other enemies too!
We appreciate your time playing the game and glad you enjoyed it! :D
Very well made. Controls are convenient low poly art style is good too.
Thank you!! We added custom keybinds for controls if player have different key preference especially for abilities! :)
Story - Pretty straightforward story, but a really clever use of twisting the player's emotions to crank up the difficulty of the game!
Mechanics - Really nice combo system and combat! I wasn't entirely sure which power I was giving away when I did give them away, but I really did enjoy how it changed the game dynamic as well as my play style. I definitely regret getting rid of that heal power, though...
Theme - The vibe is definitely a self-sacrificing one!
Audio/Visual - Solid audio. I loved the character models, too! Especially those mushroom bosses!
Overall - Really cool game with some great combat mechanics and what I think might be a procedural level generator? Great work!
Thank you for playing we're glad you enjoyed it!
Yes the power giving is quite subtle in the NPC dialogue and yes the heal is probably the most over powered than the rest haha!
For the theme we are focusing on if you're willing to give up your power and be generous in helping the NPC even though it means giving up your power! but hey theres like 3 endings and it depends how much are you willing to give!
Audio, Visual and especially the polishing aspects we definitely spend a lot time on it which we believe it was worth it :D
The maps are randomly choosing so the gameplay feels like it's not fixed :D
Thank you Again for playing and appreaciate your feedback :D
Nice, cool art style !
Thank you! :D
WOWWWW, This game is pretty cool!!!! I like how there is a combo system and WOAH!!! Is that randomized map generation I saw???
You're one of the dev buddy
Hi! That's a very enjoyable game you've got! I really liked the main character model and overall style! Just one thing - how is the cursor supposed to look? Mine appears as a square of pixels, and I’m wondering if this is a bug :)
for the cursor unfortunately webgl doesnt suppose cursor change, it was supposed to look like this
Cool concept, would look forward to the next version too maybe
Thank you for playing our game :D we're glad you like it !
It's a great work that fits the theme perfectly!
PS: There's a small issue. The first time I defeated the shopkeeper, he killed me at the same time. I died while the post-combat dialogue was still playing. So sad!
Oh woah!! Congratz on making it so far! That's unfortunate you died at the last second XD
