Thank you so much! We’re super happy with the outcome, and appreciative of the community! ;_; <3 We did run out of time, but adding music during the minigame is definitely a plan. Thank you for playing!

AW this is so sweet! Your game looks so beautiful, looking forward to checking that out! Would love to know your thoughts on our short whimsy cat story game ^^ https://itch.io/jam/tgcxcoreblazer/rate/3622042 Thanks so much!
Omg made in 1 day!! Nice jam LOL, will definitely check your game out soon :D Would love to know your thoughts for our short whimsy cat game too ^^ https://itch.io/jam/tgcxcoreblazer/rate/3622042
omg yes! whimsy short cat story game here! :D will definitely check yours out soon! https://itch.io/jam/tgcxcoreblazer/rate/3622042
MOCHITA OCHITA CHITA HITA ITA TA A! Everything about this game caught my eye, and the whimsiness of it… just had to experience this for myself too!
Main twist where you play as the environment as you help Mochita walk through a scrapbooky world. ADORABLENESS OVERLOAD! I wish this were longer and that the levels could be more diverse. This game represents the heart of indie games well, crafted with so much love <3 ^^
This one would take the gameplay cake from me for sure! Super defined, the messaging between each level is cleverly written. It really made me want to see what will come next, and there are so many interesting twists!
I’m sure there must’ve been plenty of testing to determine each timeframe. The quick transitions fully immerse you into the speed-run mentality. Watching all the plants bloom quickly is just ugh sooo satisfying. My teammate Patrocc & I were thoroughly impressed by this one :)
My only feedback is that I wish there were a quick restart button (maybe R) for when you immediately mess up at the start. Props to yall!
Kinderment haha, love that! That’s exactly the feeling I got from your lovely game too ^^ THE ADORABLE MOCHI! I’m curious to know if you noticed the real-life picture of Mochi we snuck in at the final cutscene, he’s just the most adorable pom ever.
Thanks so much for playing Miadora, especially giving us a few tries. This community has been incredible and I wish you all the best!
THIS WAS SO NICE! We’re very proud of all those aspects mentioned, so I’m so happy you enjoyed! We’re excited to add more dialogue and improve the overall experience (gotta show Boxcat some more love!).
Hey, first comment saying they nailed the roads! That’s awesome LOL. I feel once you get used to the clunkiness of it visually, it gets easier.
KITTY KING, THANKS AGAIN! Congrats to you, too for rocking out a successful jam!
Cheshire Cat! Thank you so much for playing & for your thoughts! The minigame was inspired by Crossy Roads, but the perspective differences presented a challenge for us (3D vs 2D). We do wish we had more time to optimize the minigame visually and playtest it more. It has been really cool to see everyone’s suggestions on how to improve it :D Thanks again!
Relaxing, and I’m personally delighted to see the usage of these Chinese proverbs :D I thought you did well in getting the core gameplay out in the 3 days you had. Like the others said, story, puzzle mechanics, and feedback would greatly add to the experience.
It’d be satisfying to try and collect all the proverbs if there were a visual of the remaining needed to be unlocked. Nice jam!
Loved this short experience! Tea holds so much meaning culturally, and being able to glimpse into this loving household warms my heart. My curiosity led me to keep fidgeting with the interacts, much like a child’s short attention span lol.
This was lovely, I do wish there were more things to play around with in the environment to perhaps learn more about the family. Overall, very wholesome :)
The chaotic feeling and goofy vibe reminded me of the beloved Overcooked! I could totally see two players scrambling around to help grandma.
Played this with my laptop trackpad and my hand’s sore now haha, but that was so fun! Just had to finish and get neat at least for my own satisfaction.
The creative vision/rationale was quite moving for me, especially relatable for my family as well. Home doesn’t quite feel like home to me without some form of clutter. The BGM was a banger, great work team!
MINIMUM WAGE CAFE CLERK IN A WONKY FANTASY LAND? I’m sold! The art is chefs kiss and the idea is quite fun. I didn’t expect I’d need to math. I personally think it would’ve been more fun for me if I could just obtain the sum in-game, but just choose to override the price. Partially because the price book was being cut off even after I full-screened TT.
Cafe music & aesthetics were on point, nicely done! PS: Read one of the replies about the intention behind the screaming doors. That’s such a great message!
Hey Chris, super stoked to know we’ve been able to capture that feeling for you! I also grew up playing many pet games on the DS (although these were more so taking care of them): Dogz, Nintendogs, Petz Bunnyz.
In hindsight, would definitely have spent more time optimizing the car game (struggled with time, ambitious plans LOL). The idea was to introduce minigames early on, but agree that does take away from the exploration and story-building. LESSONS LEARNED!
Thank you for your time & feedback! :D
Hi Vorgiven, I’m so happy to hear you had fun exploring the art! ^^ We tried to make the world feel as full as possible given the limited time.
In response to your feedback
- A green arrow should appear on top when you approach interactables, but the range could be increased. We plan to make that more clear for sure. As a temporary solution based on feedback, we added a hints section to the itch.io page ^^
- Haaaa yes the car game seems to be the most difficult for everyone. The hitbox is not the most clear, but it should ideally take a few tries at max. Looking to optimize post-jam
- The camera should be 360, were you playing fullscreen? Perhaps that would help. If it’s still 180, it may be a bug we need to look into q_q
Thank you so much for playing & for the thoughtful feedback! CHEERS!
Takes quite a bit of reading to understand the objective and controls. Agree with the previous comments that adding an interactive tutorial would be key for a game like this. Would love to see a gameplay vid, my challenge to the dev!
Such a cool puzzle game, enjoy reading your journey on the creative decisions. Keep up the good work! :)
A gem! I appreciate that it encourages us to evaluate our current climate. Finished the whole game, I’m curious to know how many current endings there are. I was especially impressed by the aesthetic, writing, and character design. These elements all worked together so well to feel so real!
Few notes:
- The food items were not exactly clear, felt bad whenever I accidentally upset them. Suggest adding image icons on the pots
- Sometimes the dialogue text would overlap with the trash icon on top.
This game leaves me wondering… Great job!
THE CHARACTERS AND DIALOGUE ARE SOOOO CHARMING! Enjoyed the design & feel of this one. For some reason, I couldn’t interact with the second & fourth character and spent a long time spamming all the buttons hoping it’d work.
While it’s too late to add the control into the game, I’d definitely suggest adding it onto the itch.io page description (does not affect submission) :D I believe it’d help the players greatly. Props to the team!~
Hihi everyone! Thank you to the community so far for your lovely reception and feedback! This has all been beyond anything we could’ve ever imagined, and we hoped the story was able to touch a bit of your hearts :)
We have been reading every comment, and have implemented a hints section on the itch.io page to improve the experience in case you get lost. Additionally, note that you can run and jump in the world (Lshift & Space). Thanks all once again! <3

We have been reading every comment, and have implemented a hints section on the itch.io page to improve the experience in case you get lost. We recognize that the car-crossing game can be a bit difficult, but I promise that the story and main gameplay lies beyond that point (it’s worth it, trust!)
Additionally, note that you can run and jump in the world (Lshift & Space). Thanks all once again! <3

;__; Thank you so much Josep, this was very kind of you! We were quite ambitious for our very first game and jam, and had to cut a bunch of little things out. Extremely proud of our solo-programmer Mr. Patrocc!
That link is perfect to add clues, we'll look to update our itch.io page. I believe this will greatly improve the experience. THANK YOU!
Omggggggg Akusan this comment was everything to meeeee! Thank you so much for playing and the unofficial cuteness award HAHA.
When we were considering the theme, we spent a long time wondering what kind of generosity to express. Often times, we think of self-sacrificing to be the ultimate form, but generosity shouldn't be painful. Often, we give still with the expectation that we will somehow receive. We wanted to emphasize the small moments that maybe you don't really think about. Our idea stemmed from a pet's unconditional love and human interactions of mutual understanding. PETS & ANIMALS ARE SO PRECIOUS, so the game being cute was definitely our vision.
Really proud of the credits that we managed to scrap up hours before the submission. We hope to make the in betweens more clear post-jam. THANKS AGAIN <3 :')
PS: I watched my teammate Patrocc play your game yesterday (we were trying a bunch together). Will be trying it for myself later!
Thanks so much for playing! We wanted to try and keep the controls simple, yet rewarding. Like when you paw you meow cutely haha. There's actually a few more that isn't shown to make it more fun to move around (left shift to sprint & space to jump). Should probably update that in the itch.io page heh... I wonder if people discovered these naturally? Did you intuitively try those buttons out?
I LOVE BEJEWELED and combat addition is totally for me! Would 100% finish a full game of this, but I encountered quite several bugs sadly :( The music reminds me so much of epic Undertale boss music. Took some quick notes in case you're looking to fix these in the future.
- Without having accumulated the skill, it shows a white box with the words "new text" underneath
- Sometimes it spawns a row of three already, but it still won't pop unless I swap two of the same tiles in the chain
- Sometimes after I pop, more tiles spawn in to complete a row of three, but it won't pop on its own.
- The tiles are not staying in a grid for me (playing browser full screen). It kind of moved all over the place,
- After attacking with explosion & poison in that order, the game stopped working for me T_T
If you decide to create a fixed version in the future, I'd be super excited to play it! Hit me up! Also curious to learn about the Vietnamese folktale behind this game.
The introduction was so well-done! The camera angle and arrows are all very clear. The core of the idea and gameplay is simple, but executed skillfully. Great job ^^
Our team also had the thought of "going backwards" to see the effects, but struggled to answer many questions. So happy to see and learn from what you've done here. :)
Loaded into this absolutely darling warm vintage art, in contrast to the mother's passing. LOL the sheer chaos of everything piling on my screen naturally fueled my curiosity as to what else could happen. Kept clicking and combining until I received an error, crashing the game.
In navigating grief, we do our best to hold ourselves together even as the world feels to be collapsing. I was touched by your unique and comical game.
Such a well-done and well-explored idea. In participating in my first-ever jam, I'm especially impressed by games like this! Wish I could've seen the end :)
Sooo relaxing and satisfying! I found myself trying to give away all my tiles just to see what it does, collecting the flowers from different players is super neat! The paths and placement reminded me vaguely of the board game Saboteur, perhaps also from the cute lil prototype tile pics you guys included. Ironic, because in that game, you sabotage each other from collecting the treasure, while this one is encourages sharing. A potential takeaway from the board game is that there could be "areas" or "special tiles" you try to build towards. Just another way to incentivize the players to keep expanding.
Your efforts with this one really shines through! Reading all the planned additions makes me excited to see where this goes. Psst, this would be such a great mobile game ^^ Yay team!
I've only played a handful of jumping platformers that haven't been time-based, so this was a pretty new experience for me. This game sits very nicely into a niche, and I can see the target community really digging this one. I'd agree with the previous comments that it is quite difficult (also a skill issue from my end). This game seems very intentional and thoughtful, I'd be pumped to watch some speed run videos of this game! A challenge to the devs!
