Creative Vision / Rationale / How Did You Incorporate the Theme
(Please view the game's page for the controls and known bugs)
In a world where individualism on the rise, we often forget the value of connection between people, and thus we turn selfish. In this game, we want to give the player a clear goal: To plant 10,000 trees. The reason why we give the player a clear goal is that we think if the player has nothing to lose, then there will be no true generosity. Every action in the game takes stamina, including talking with the NPC. So the player has to choose, either to spend energy and items they have to help the NPCs, or to use that for themselves and achieve the goal of planting 10,000 trees. In addition, the result from talking to the NPC is random, so the player is not guaranteed to gain something from talking to them, solidifying the generosity theme.

It was a little confusing at first, but after reading the tutorial and going through trial and error for the 1st few days, I got into the rhythm of growing and harvesting. I made it to day 35 and I had a lot of fun talking to different NPCS and I really love the variety of seeds and produce you can harvest. The music, environments, and art style are fantastic. And I like the mechanics of the stamina and having to plant a certain number of trees to cross into other zones. It was little frustrating to have to unlock the same bridges with a higher plant cost, but all in all, I enjoyed my playthrough. Great job!
Hi my fellow Vietnamese!
Love the concept, how you tied a simple game goal with the game's title, and cuteness of our character.
Omg it's so cool to see another Vietnamese joining this jam! Thanks for checking out our game.
It's been fun to play this cute game :)
check out mine too : https://itch.io/jam/tgcxcoreblazer/rate/3628719
This game has such a cute aesthetic, I love the animal crossing-esk vibes! The gameplay’s pretty fun but I was having some issues with it too. I kept planting and watering the seeds/trees but then a day or two later, I would be dropped into a whole new environment and all my crops would disappear. I think I was able to harvest some seeds from some of them, but I would still get teleported and lose my crops the next day. It’s still a really fun concept and ties into the theme nicely!
Thanks for the feedback. The game came together a bit late so we didn't have a lot of time to balance. Maybe after the voting end we can do some tweaking to make it less frustrating to play.
This looks really cozy! I love this. I got stuck on day 1 until i read the rules/controls on the game page but apart from the bugs a reallly cool concept and fun to play.
Glad you had fun! Thanks for your kind words
Omg I love the animal crossing vibe and and the cute inventory system! Really love the concept and commitment to an aesthetic!
Thank you! The round planet turns out better than we expected haha
I love the visuals and the idea of generosity by planting trees :D The music and sfx is very soothing and calm fitting the gameplay! :D
I did get stuck on day 1 though, I'm not sure how to end the day do I need to wait it out? would love to try and complete the game :D
you interact with the door (press f next to the door) to go to the next day
Really cute concept, and I love the character designs! I really like the idea of slowly growing my tree garden, but wasn't able to see any progress after 50 days. Do the trees take a long time to grow? I would've loved to start crossing the bridges I saw!
No the trees actually only take 3 days to grow, and faster if you water them. After it finishes growing, it'll wilt in 3 days. You have to harvest it before it wilts to get points.
Oh I see! I missed that part when reading the controls. I'll try again later!
Haha no worry actually there's a lot of people asking me about it so I added the how to grow part in. We didn't have time to make a proper tutorial for the game.
