This one's definitely a looker - even my partner who glanced at the game immediately asked me what game I'm playing. I loved the intro where you built the cinematic that slowly introduced our world and Klotho. The particles, the third person camera, the character design, as well as the preview on the level plus music just really set a melancholic but pressing atmosphere--right up my alley.

Would you consider making the movements more beginner friendly? I tried about a dozen time to Jump Shift to the second moving platform, but I wasn't able to pass. I'd definitely play again if you guys were to change the experience a bit.

How was it working with 3rd person, 3D?

Hey Pachi!

Thanks for your feedback. We're definitely considering making some tweaks to the level design and movement mechanics post jam to make the experience less puzzling. The biggest challenge was physics and iterating on the player movement to feel as smooth as possible. We probably could have done away with most of the moving platforms/decreased the distance between them to make things easier. The game needed a lot more playtesting than we had time for so unfortunately certain aspects of it fell short. I'd be more than happy to have you try the game again so that you can get the full experience. Thanks for playing!

I look forward to it ^_^

The general vibe of the game is great! The jumping, as some other users have said, is definitely clunky, but I know that player movement is difficult to optimize. In general, I wish you could modify the camera sensitivity - I definitely got a bit motion sick from how sensitive the camera was with the mouse.

Hey Dryya, thanks for your feedback! And it was definitely a challenge trying to optimize some of the mechanics.  The game needed a lot more playtesting, but we were pressed for time, so we did what we could. It was definitely an oversight with something as simple as being able to adjust the camera sensitivity, but that's something that we can fix after the jam is over.

The music, graphics and general vibe for the game are all really really cool -- and super super impressive given the time constraints. Good work!!

Developer

Really appreciate that! Thank you!

The jumping feels hard to control, and I ran into a lot of weird bugs... but I really like the space vibe. Looking forward to a fixed version!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Yeah, I understand. The game can definitely use some polish. Especially the camera sensitivity. Stay tuned!

Very hard to figure out what to do and how. So, for example, we need to go on walking on the moving platforms, or jump while running (shift) to fly between cubes in space. Very interesting gravity game, but very frustrating to gamers who want to succeed : it's too frequent to go quite far and fall to the beginning with a bad jump/fall ^^"  A better collision gameplay/visual would help to make a better experience. It remains very poetic with this minimalist graphics.

Developer

Hey Yazorius, thanks for playing! And I understand how you feel. It's definitely a bit challenging and there's a lot of trial and error with getting the jumps and timing right as a player. Originally, we wanted to make the player stick to the moving platforms so you didn't have to keep up with it while it moves. In hindsight, that probably would have made the 1st set of platforms easier to do. We're planning on adding some post-jam fixes to it. You can also select "Respawn" in the pause menu if you want to quickly reset. Thanks for your feedback!

Hey there! I tried to play your game but is very difficult to get pass the first stairs :( I am not very skilled at platformer games, so it might play into that as well. I also got a bit dizzy from the camera movement, but i know it's hard to avoid motion sickness.
I really like the world and I wanted to see more of it. I might give it another try though! Keep up the good work :)

Hey Eleni! Thanks for playing and I totally understand.  You can try reducing your mouse sensitivity if that helps for a less dizzying experience. The platforming takes some patience to learn, but I promise it's worth it if you make it to the end. Thanks again for your comment and for taking the time to try it though!
