Great game! Really impressive amount of content for 48hrs. Some really nice artwork too. Gaining new input as your progress is a pretty unique idea and its executed well in the level design too. Sprout is a very charming character. I played through it three times and tried your speed run challenge - my best run was 3 mins 30 seconds!
I don't have much negative to say about it except small ideas to improve/add polish e.g add a custom font and polish the UI a bit, and maybe have add atmospheric "cave-y" audio and/or less cheerful music once you are underground. A very strong entry overall!
Thanks for your feedback and thanks for putting on yet another great jam! A custom font was originally on my to-do list but certain animations took a bit longer than I anticipated so I had to cut that along with a few other polish details I had hoped to get to.

Good controls and music! One thing I would change is that when the character is over a moving platform it should follow the movement, otherwise is hard to understand what is the next move.

Yes that's a great idea and one that I planned on including! Unfortunately some of the animation took too long so I was unable to properly implement in time. As as result I limited the number of moving platforms you could land on so hopefully it wasn't too distracting! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
This game was amazing. The animations, the mechanics, the concept, the visuals, simply amazing! That was a really creative idea to have players unlock the mechanics as they progress along and the journey was quite fulfilling. Amazing job on this game!

It definitely takes a lot of practice I've done several jams at this point so I kind of have a feel of what I will and won't be able to accomplish during the time period, so that can ensure I don't have to spend too long on one single task. Love it! Liked the gradual growth of the character through unlocking the controls. Occasionally found the hit detection for the side of platforms a bit too unforgiving. Very cute character, particularly the 'leaf arm' for flipping switches.

Really cute game. Loved the interpretation of growing by also tying it to the controls. Camera in the falling boulder room was a quite jittery. Otherwise, great game <3

I'm glad you like it! The actual music track itself was royalty free (I'm not confident enough in my music composition skills to compose a piece for the game jam) but all other audio mixing and effects were still done by me. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
