Your game is exceptional, a pleasure to do! Just the combo with the mouse to activate the switches is a bit annoying, but we get used to it, well done!

Developer(+1)

That's a good call about the mouse I can see why that would be a little annoying at first and definitely something I would change if I were to do it again. Thank you so much for your feedback I appreciate it!

Nice little game with metroidvania like skill/move learning. With such limited time, it is a very impressive start. With more time it could become a good small browser game, with even more skills. Perhaps a few hit points for the player would be nice.

Developer

That's a great idea! The levels were so fun to make I wouldn't mind e expanding the game in the future. Thanks for checking it out :)

This game is really great. It looks so cute and the idea of growing and learning new skills is very creative. The level design is also very good and well thought trough, but I think the colliders of the spiky plant are a little bit to big. I've died many times without even visibly touching them (in the last flying part)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback! You're absolutely correct about the colliders! It was a mistake on my part where I updated the sprite but forgot to update the collider itself. Good catch! Consequence of developing in such a short amount of time. I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

This is perfect game! How can you make that good game in just 48 hours that's so hard.. 5 star rating, also please later add music volume setting, that would be nice.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Game jams in general just take a lot of practice and a lot of knowing where your limits are. A volume setting would be a great idea! Definitely something I'll add if I decide to keep working on the game in the future

This one is really good. It's not just growing in size but it's learning new moves as well.

Developer

Thank you so much I really appreciate you taking the time to check it out!

Wow, it`s so nice game. Good job!

Good solid level design, cute little sprout, what's not to love? I loved the upgrade mechanic where you unlock your abilities one by one and you changed visually, made the payoff satisfying at the end. The moving spikes cost me a lot of deaths, so good job on those I should say. The sun voice is pretty good and funny, but for the sake of briefness, just keep five yo's and it should feel much better. Great work!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! I went back and forth on the voice but it made me laugh so much i probably over did it! :D Thanks for playing I really appreciate it!

YYYYYYYYY Yo.

Finally got around to checking out your game dude, super fun. Amazing idea for the "Grow" theme.

Developer

Thank you for checking it out! Lol I know the voice can get a little annoying but to be honest it made me laugh a lot so I decided to keep it in! Haha glad you enjoyed it!

This game was very well designed! Using controls as power ups is really clever!

Developer

Thanks for taking the time to check it out I appreciate it!

Enjoyed playing this game so much! Unlocking controls this way beats having to read or watch a long tutorial along with obstacles being presented to practice each new control.

Developer

Thank you I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for checking it out :)

Really found the unlocking your usual controls very interesting.

I found the thorn hitboxes maybe a bit too big in some areas?

Great game overall.

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much for your feedback! I agree with the thorn hit boxes, result of me forgetting to change the collider after updating the sprite! Oh well consequence of a fast paced weekend jam. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Love to unlock keys while playing, well thought!! :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Submitted(+1)

Love the progression, you really thought it throw. Congrats.

Developer

Yes I spent the first several hours making sure my level design was as solid as I could make it before I ever opened Unity. Glad you had enjoyed it!

Really good short platformer with fun mechanics.

Developer

Thank you I appreciate you taking the time to check it out :)

This was fun!  The thorn hitboxes felt a little unforgiving but otherwise it controlled well.  Nice little platformer.

Developer

Thank you I appreciate your feedback! I agree with the thorn hitboxes. It seems to be leftover from an old sprite that was changed half way through development and I overlooked adjusting the collider to match. Consequences of a 48 hour jam! Good catch thanks for playing!

these physics and controls are perfect for a speedrunning platformer! it was so fun just to zoom around!

Developer

Thanks I worked very hard to make the movement as satisfying as I could!

Submitted(+1)
