Had a lot of fun with it!
Really nice game. "Spend health for more damage/range" is a great implementation of the sacrifice theme. The leaderboard was cool too (and not just because I apparently got the world high score, I don't know how that happened, I played pretty normally...) I experienced some really loud clicking sounds when the screen got really distorted near the end.

I really liked the game, up until the effects kicked in.
Try not to overuse extreme effects. The combination of extreme screen shake with chromatic aberration cranked to the max and the speakers screeching (i thought they broke for a moment) made my head hurt.
The art was really cool, I'm also a big fan of you how implemented the theme into the game, having to sacrifice health for upgrades. The max range upgrade got a bit cracked after a while though and the enemies became very easy to defeat after upgrading it a couple of times.

Loved loved the art and the upgrades really added diversity as you kept going forward. As mentioned by other comments I saw, the dialog does move slow and at times I found myself skipping through (sorry!). Beautiful game though, fantastic job!!
Nice game, one thing tho, it gets pretty easy after a while.

Really nice submission! I love the art, it’s so cute and beautiful! I could not complete it because I was struggling at some point but I appreciated this experience a lot :)
I love the game art, and the story, but one thing. When I press f, it just skips to the next dialogue, which is really annoying because I either have to sit through the really slow scrolling text or just not read any of the story, and with dialogue systems you should always just make it finish the sentence instead of skipping. Anyways, great submission, I really liked playing through it.
Amazing game. The art is FANTASTIC! The gameplay itself could have been given a bit more variety, but overall great work.

Great submission! The only complaints I can make is that pixel ration isn't equal and i would have loved to be able to attack upwards since a lot the enemies are flying.
