pre-jam devlog (optional)
I had this game idea in mind for while. I could finally implement this game from scratch this month.
Post-Jam Devlog | Post-Mortem (optional)
I thinking about making much more levels in the future. More game features could make the game more interesting too (more robots, more program instructions...).

The music is very nice and the cardboard graphics are both cute and eye catching.
The rolling is satisfying.
The puzzles are very enjoyable and the the only thing i can nit pick would be making the player respawn from deaths faster.
The hacking puzzles are amazing! Love the movement and controls, especially the dodge roll. Honestly though I have to re-iterate that I love the hacking puzzle thing! I could really see this game going places.
I like the graphics and models a lot, the puzle is pretty original too, I really like the idea, pretty good!!
Great game! Cute graphics and a super cool and innovative concept. I like taking the word "buttons" literally 😂
A very interesting and well-executed idea. I loved the cardboard aesthetic. It's funny that the character gets crushed in different positions. The music fits very well too, excellent choice for a puzzle game like this.
Just a small bug—in the level with multiple cannons where you have to change their rhythm, after several attempts, the game froze on me. I had to restart. Luckily, you have the option to skip the level, but I couldn’t see how I did in the end. :/
Despite this, it was a great experience. Great job!
I’m very sorry you experienced such bug. This project was quite ambitious and complex to implement, I will work more on the performance and stability in the future.
I’m glad you could still appreciate your overall experience, thanks for your kind comment!
Great game! Graphics are cool. Puzzles are very well designed.
I had 2 small issues:
Thanks for your feedback!
I never heard about the itch app before, I’ll take a look. (I’m developing on Linux).
What keyboard layout do you have? I don’t have a “qwerty”-keyboard neither, but it work fine for me: you should hit the key based on its location on a qwerty keyboard. It is not very convenient I admit but Godot web build can’t “translate” the real name of a key…
I have a qwertz-Layout. When the game asks me about "[Y]es, [N]o" I have to press "Z" for Yes. (Not a big deal, WASD etc. works fine)
The itch-app is also available on linux. If you use butler for upload everything works out of the box in most cases. (I would recommend that, you can have a script for publishing and get incremental updates.)
I really like the visual aesthetic and it's fun, though the hacking system could be improved. I got a bit confused at first. Great Work!
What a cool game :D
Great job on the awesome game! Please check out my game if you like Metroidvanias or platformers :D
Thanks for your feedback and your ideas!
At first, I wanted to add more paper-folding models in the game, but it is harder to model that I initially thought, ahah! I keep the idea for a later update.
Firstly, Excellent work for one month, I love love love the aesthetic and the music fits the vibe perfectly, I typically don't play puzzle games but since you left a comment on my game I tried it out and I'm glad I did, i honestly had a ton of fun with it. Great Work!
Thanks for playing!
I may surprise you but I usually don’t like puzzle game neither. In order to make a puzzle game that I could like, my approach was to make sure the puzzles have many way to be solved (for most of them at least). Thus it gives some place for creativity, and a better satisfaction of solving them.
Wow, I can't believe you made this in a month. This game is so cool!! I love the cute cardboard aesthetic and the music is very soothing (great for a puzzle game). The game's systems are very intriguing and you do a good job slowly introducing the systems to the player. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's fun! I think it's because the game is greater than the sum of its parts and it just has a great vibe.
Okay, enough gushing about it. Here's my one suggestion (take it with a grain of salt): The "Action" "Target" card could be a little clearer. For example, with the hourglass and button drawing, does this mean "Wait for the button to be pressed" or "Pressing the button executes a wait"? It took me a little bit of time to figure it out, which could be part of the design, but perhaps it would make for a better user experience if the diagram or instructions were laid out more clearly.
I’m glad you like it, it was a huge amount of work!
Thanks for your feedback. Designing levels of increasing difficulty was challenging, it’s good to hear that it is correct. I expect the player to do both inspecting the program and observing the robot behavior in order to understand the program. But I agree that the “action”/“target” is not very clear and could be improved. Such kind kind of new and unique game mechanics are hard to introduce to the player… in my to-do list for the next update :)
