This was lovely! I was smiling the whole time playing it (after the first few lines of dialogue when I thought things might go badly).

It's weirdly entertaining to watch the characters do narrative-gymnastics in order to guarantee you the good ending. It's a good hook for a game (I think).

Straightforward and executed really well. As others have mentioned, I would have liked to have had some choices that had some impact on the interaction (or at least gave me the illusion of having an impact), other than just the chosen partner. Though vastly different storylines for each character is a nice feature.

The art is great, and I enjoyed the dialogue as well. Overall, a very solid entry.

Great concept but I wish there were more options and less characters. Would have gladly traded 2 character for more options with the other 2.

The music fits the game perfectly, but the font on the other hand was a little hard to read.

Great character art, especially love how the expressions match what is being said.

We're too indecisive for dwindling down the options xD Yeah at the time we were only thinking linear more than having options to make sure we stuck to the theme and time as best as possible. Thanks for the feedback :D

Great art for the characters and I liked the music, very fitting.

I'd have liked to have some dialog options, even if functionally they didn't do anything (instead of just being a linear read).

Apart from that I didn't really like the cursive font, it felt a bit hard to read; but maybe that's just me. Also for a narrative experience some spellchecking wouldn't have hurt :)

Overall great entry, and thumbs up for sticking to the theme.

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked the art and music :D Yeah I can see how the font would be annoying to some but we wanted to go for some cheesy romance font. But could have maybe looked into better fonts if we had time xD As for spell checking, all dialogue was written in code (which I wish had spellcheck) and was also done while running on 4 hours of sleep xD

This is really funny! I love your art style and narrative, it is super cute! With more time you could really build up a great story with dialogue options and a more realistic story progression rather than an immediate "you lived happily ever after, the end" and the UI is problematic as the words go off canvas on the main menu. But obviously given the short time frame you didn't have much time for a mind-blowing visual novel . However, it is really impressive that you managed to give these characters such clear and strong personalities with so few lines. You should definitely keep working on this game and build on it!

P.S. I like that your choice of date impacts the dialogue, it gives meaning and purpose to choosing a character. It also makes me want to replay the game 3 more times to see the different dialogue snip for each character.

If only dating was this easy :P Great artwork and the dialogue is very funny. Some dialogue options would be cool, and no matter how bad the response you choose is, the result always ends up going in your favour. Would nicely solidify the feeling that dating is easier than in real life.
