Description
The game is about a young man who visits an island that he used to go with with his family. His family disappeared a long time ago and he does not remember her, so throughout the game he will take photos of things and places that remind him of his family. He also takes photos of new things, creating new memories. At the end of the game he completely remembers his family. I tried that the songs remind the nature of the areas in which it is set and were relaxing, like a nostalgic walk. The forest is related to his brother, the cave is related to her sister, the lake is related to her mother and the montuains is related to his father.
Message from the artist:
This was my first music jam, it was so much fun doing everything in just one week. I hope everyone had fun too
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
The game is a journey to remember, since the protagonist travels to the island to remember his family, in addition to creating new memories that he will remember forever

Good job.
This ost strikes me as meticulously thought out. It was a pleasure to listen to something so carefully crafted. I agree with Aibon that there could have been more ways to modify your main theme to keep interest. My favorite tracks were the tracks that took place in different areas - forest, lake, cave, mountain - as they had more of an individual feel to them. I love your concept and overall mood.
very nice, building an atmosphere and a story in my head. using the same instruments and sometimes same patterns (or at least that's what I think I did hear) makes this all part of one thing.
one small remark, although it's possible this is a problem at my end, I had the feeling I had to turn up the volume a lot. maybe next time see if you can increase the volume within your recording device.
A lot of ambient sounds and sweet simple melodies. Remember the journey is very beautiful <3
I appreciate the fact that you wanted to make a lot of tracks coherent mantaining the same chords, but I think it gets kinda repetitive. You could reharmonize some of the tracks mantaining the same melody to give it another colour; You did vary the instrumentation very well tho, I do want to point that as well ^^ Good job
WOW!!! Nice ambient ost. Really amazing work and you made so many tracks
An OST based on the variation of presentation of the same theme. In all, 17 pieces on the same minimalist inspiration, with a particularly refined choice of instrumental timbres. Unfortunately, I have a little difficulty with the sound of the synthetic layer which, due to my musical training, which is probably too rigid, blocks me particularly in its low register, due to its micro-variation in pitch, giving me a feeling of unease where intellectually I perceive a desire for peace and gentleness. By reading the comments left by the other participants of the Jam, I can see that I am the only one to block on this strange sound (I am very easily subject to motion sickness, and the instrument chosen here makes me feel a rather similar effect). Luckily, there are several pieces which do not use this sound in the low register, and which therefore allowed me to appreciate your work, especially for the melody and the orchestration to enhance it. My favorite moment is the first part "Walk in the Mountains" which is enriched with a pleasant rhythm and the alternation between piano and harp, two instruments that work very well together. I would have liked not to be so sensitive to the microtonal variation of the chosen instrument (I have the feeling to be a monster to not be able to enjoy your work because of one instrument o_O), to make the most of this OST which conveys so much poetry and sweetness.
I had the same strange sensation because of these low notes, I even had to pause the music to make sure it came from there at one point. I couldn’t describe this sensation until I read your comment making a parallel with motion sickness, I totally agree! It’s funny how sounds can affect use physically and not everyone the same way :) And like you, I almost feel guilty not being able to pass over it because this soundtrack is really beautiful!
Listening again to the very first piano notes, my ‘nausea’ may come as well from this sort of rising reverb tail (or maybe it’s a synth pad ?). I like this idea though, it really adds something but maybe just be a tad more subtle about it ? I don’t want to impose you anything though, it’s more like a piece of advice if more people feel like we do.
I really appreciate the theme of your album stringing through the album. It’s really cohesive and there is a LOT of material. Nicely done!
Big fan of ambient soundtracks. The cave segments and harp during Remember Your Family are my favorite elements. Thanks for sharing!
The approach to this is nice- really like the sounds you ended up using! I also like the implementation of similar melodies/harmonies throughout the different tracks- does great to create a sense of cohesion. Nice!
This is really nice! It reminds me of an early morning walk by a sea beach. I really like the choice of instruments, the ambient wash textures. I also appreciate the great use of space, which if used in the background for a game would help us feel immersed in the story :) Also love the slight slapback delay on some of the instruments for the roomy effect.
What a beautiful ambient OST! I was on my walk this morning listening to this and before I knew it I was daydreaming about life stuff ,_, Hit the feels. So much music too! You've put tons of effort into this. Amazing work! <3
