Description
genre: im not sure , but maybe can be called clasical ?
run time: 16-17 mins
what does each track represent?:
i made a theme for each character .
also made themes for the castle, for a place where the main
characters are suposed to rest (An abandoned kitchen that used
to be the ghost's workplace), and for the ending, when the explorer is back to home.
i will leave the summarized history so you can understand a little bit more whats happening.
The game is about an explorer who on one of his trips to snowy
mountains gets lost and a little bird steals his camera, shortly
after he finds a castle, there he meets several characters with
whom he befriends, first he meets a jester who pretended to be
the king, but after hearing the king's footsteps he decides
to run, then he meets the king and his subjects, the king says
that he will help him and orders his subjects to take the
explorer to the upper floor of the castle where he will find a
pair of super powerful binoculars that will allow him to find
his camp. However, secretly from the king, the subjects steal
his things from the explorer and lock him in a dungeon.
being there he meets a ghost who had not realized that he was
already dead, then the explorer helps him to realize it and
the happy ghost decides to help him escape and return home.the
ghost and the explorer continue their journey to the upper
floor of the castle, and on their way they find the jester about
to be imprisoned and decide to help him. The jester, grateful
for their help, decides to accompany them on their journey
and to defeat the subjects they meet along the way.Once they have
managed to defeat several subjects and have almost reached the
top floor of the castle, they encounter a giant toad and engage
in an epic battle. When it seems that the characters are about
to be defeated, the king comes to scold the toad. It turns out
that the toad was the king's pet. the main characters tell what
happened to the king, so he decides to throw out those who were
his subjects and escort the characters himself. once at his
destination, the character manages to find his camp, it is
now when it is time to say goodbye to his new friends. On his
way home the explorer manages to observe a little bird flying
in the air, which drops his camera, and there he discovers
photos of all his memories.

Theme

a journey to remember.

How does it fit the theme?

You put a great deal of care and attention into not just the music, but the story as well.  I think that's absolutely lovely, and it really paid off!  It was such an immersive soundtrack, which is extra impressive for the sparse instrumentation that never felt thin.  Bravo!!

Loved the spooky aesthetic you achieved! Well done making a cohesive OST. My favorites were Good Guys Aren't They and Haunted Kitchen.

I liked a lot the waltz rythm coming in in many of the songs, it's always good to create weird and eerie ambients. The selection of sounds and vst's also does a lot to it. Very atmospheric and really immersive

one of the best things so far for me. very nice and haunting themes. I can't wait to see a game or movie with this music. it would fit an old black and white themed movie very well since it does a lot storytelling and atmosphere building.

I like it, it reminds me of chrono trigger, especially the first song

Always happy to hear some oboe, totally underrated lead instrument! Well done, thanks for sharing.

The Waltz structure in most of the tracks fit very weel with the tone of the game and the story.  Is a nice mixture of Melancoly, Elegance and mistery. The instrumentation is varied and helps to define each character and location, like we see in Jester's theme, or the king's theme.

If i have to stand out one of your tacks, I would say Jester's theme was the one that I liked the most.  I think it has an interesting duality, where the instruments are supposed to be happy and joyful, but the armony and the melody says the opposite, I like that a lot.

Good job!

With a minimalist orchestration, this OST delivers many heady melodies. A great nostalgia arises from this music which is reminiscent of certain creations by Yann Tiersen. A complete OST that musically accompanies a mysterious adventure, with the dark but charming sides of a Tim Burton without ever falling into the real scary. Over the melodies, the listener meets various colorful characters in spooky but good-natured places. The set offers an adventure that the author has perfectly planned in detail in an immersive description. Very varied and pleasant to listen to.

Really enjoyed how you took ideas and motifs and made them work throughout! Also, I just love the general vibe- with the slight horror/spooky element in there! Nice!

This soundtrack stuck in my head before I came to the submission page. I heard it on Soudcloud playlist. I think it's really unusual. I love the melodies and harmonics. It needs a little work on mixing and mastering, but overall experience is good! Congratulations :)

This was a great, spooky listen! The instrumentation and arrangement were really gentle but had a subtle menace to them, which I thought was fun. I also really liked the melody to Haunted Kitchen, I think that was my favourite track out of the set. Great work!
