I just played the demo and the movement + animations are feeling pretty great! Here are some suggestions:
Gameplay related suggestions:
- When I try to buffer a jump with Paige close to the ground, she starts charging a double jump that gets cancelled when hitting the floor. It would be great if she just jumped when hitting the floor (add jump buffer).
- Add input buffer on grappling.
- Visual indicator when dash is ready.
- Add input buffer on dash.
- Scroll up/down changes the grapple chain length.
- Dash into pushable boxes maybe could speed up the pushing.
Other suggestions:
- Camera shake too strong when charging jumps.
- Dim area too dim, couldn’t see the floor easily with my VA monitor, had to adjust the gamma.
- It would be cute if Paige had expressions while doing basic actions.
- Random animation playing when idle for some time.
- Make antennas and hair react more to wind when moving fast.
- Make the body and legs swing more on grapple.
If you guys need spline related tooling I know a person that made a Very flexible spline tool for blender, maybe they would be willing to share with you guys!

Peguei o cartão de vocês na Gamescom e finalmente cheguei a testar! Cheguei a conversar com o Caio (eu era o cara do jogo de cogumelo de puzzle que um shader parecido com o céu de vocês kkkkkkk).
Bem bacana essa demo. Um feedback que gostaria de comentar é sobre como a câmera se mexe estranho com o mouse. A velocidade dela é inversamente proporcional a velocidade do mouse, quando mais devagar eu mecho o mouse, mais rápido ela se meche.
Enfim, muito legal o projeto de vocês! Tudo de bom!
