Description
I have no idea what the genre is for this, but I do know that the game would be an adventure platformer of sorts...
What each song represents in-game is in the project page, I dunno if it's against the rules to tell you that it's all there... I'm not too aware of these things >:
The main thing that I used in the OST was my guitar, which I sometimes used as a bass too. Most of the time, the bass was a sequenced one-shot sample, since... Well, uh, I don't have a real bass. The guitar is passable as one, though.
Sometimes I like to make weird pads and stuff out of my guitar as well (like in the last song !), and also organs (like in Canyon Song !)
Also ! At first I was going to use MuLab, but then I couldn't come up with anything... So I switched to the other DAW I main in hopes for better luck with inspiration. It worked !
One last thing, lemme know if I forget anything, because I'm submitting/writing this while I'm very tired...

cowboys learn about aliens: the soundtrack
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
While it is old west, it's more of a sci-fi old west involving possible aliens, and a whole lot of existential crises about what's out there, and if what's out there really took the main character's friends.

omg Canyon Song goes soo haaard!!
The ambience is consistent, the sound design is great and the grooves are just divine.
This was one of my favorite submissions, really.
I really like the guitar as well as the different sound choices, it all has a nice apocalyptic tone
I really liked the whole OST. It was great hearing guitar, quite original in this jam. I liked the compositions, they were catchy. Good job!
I said this on the discord already, but i really like the sound choices. Has a really cohesive "vibe" throughout, great job!
this really catches my attention, i think is the first one that i think deserves the five stars in "impression"
Love that sound ! We can definitely feel an outer space western :)
I don't know how to bulk reply, if that's even a thing, but THANK YOU :D :D :D
Guitars are so amazing. Epic tone. Good to see such composers on this jam)
You're great guitarist :) I can definitely hear this western vibe. It's also a bit...mysterious and scary? Good job!
Wow totally unexpected sound when the soundtrack starts :O
So 70s and psychedelic!
