This game originally should include four levels which would take the player on a journey across the island. I had to scope it down to the first level only, but I might add the remaining levels later.

(Sorry for late feedback but feedback is feedback I guess?) The game looked and sounded great but other than jumping pits there was no variety or change in scale two very important principals in game design. Here's a video about what I mean but your work in every other aspect of the game is great!

Your video is awesome! It has taught me really much about how to design a game for someone who plays it for the first time. Especially on the matter with the drops you can't climb up again. I'm so happy you liked it, I really enjoyed watching! :D

Monuriki is the name of the island Cast Away was shot on. ^^

Good to hear that, glad I could be of help too! And what a fun-fact to know that the Island was called Monuriki, but.. how do you pronounce it?


So great! I loved every part of it. The art, music, effects, design are all great. Fantastic work!


The game is fun, maybe a bit too much easy? I liked going around jumping and collecting coconuts! The ends was a bit sudden to, but now I want to jump on the volcano! Good Job!


Thank you for the feedback. It's super helpful, especially on difficulty, becuase that was the part I was most unsure about. Sadly, I had to sacrifice the ending to submit the entry in time.

It was a very good movie and your interpretation was also very good. It was a nice little platformer I very much enjoyed playing. Also, menu scene art was amazing. Congrats :)

Oh, another game about family reunion. I liked it.

 It feels fine and soft. His skirt animation is a hit )

Also I think a key to skip intro text wouldn't hurt. It's a bit tedious to click through it on restart. And I wanted to see Wilson at last, at least somewhere in the distance, but alas - there is only promise of a journey to a volcano.

I see that not seeing Wilson is disappointing but sadly I had to sacrifice him for gameplay as my scope was too big for this amount of time. I would have loved to make a real reunition.


Awesome! I really liked it, it's simple but fun. With a few more mechanics and levels it could be really cool! The only cons are that sometimes I would jump on a bat but a bit on the side and it would register it as being hit rather than killing it (collision issues, input lag? I'm not sure) and I was never sure if I could drop down platforms safely or if I was going to die from falling into an infinite hole (I guess there's no "game over" holes though).

I thought about the things with the holes because it's always a blind jump and I see that I should have designed the levels without them or somehow counter the guessing. I had more levels with different themes and mechanics in scope and maybe I'll implement them sometime.

I noticed the bug with the bats too, but sadly I couldn't fix it in time.
