Really fun game that should be expanded on. It got a waiting game though once I had the spawn points circled with turrets. Easy to farm iron that way but not much of challenge anymore. But a really great game and quite polished for a jam
I really like this game, it's a cool concept that can be expanded upon with more features! I think more turret variations would be cool, or even bases to spawn your own tanks.
Really creative use of the assets and nice polish too, great job!
I like the main gameplay loop of shooting and building rails and turrets. If you flesh it out I think it has a lot of potential.
One suggestion I have is to make the train come after a while. If it reaches the end of the tracks before they are finished you lose, or if gets shot at by the enemies you also lose. This would force players to take more risks to get resources to finish the tracks quickly and also incentivize building turrets along the tracks to protect the train.
Also, great use of the art assets.
That was intended to be in the game, but we kinda ran out of time and weren't able to implement it. We still plan to finish the game at some point.
awesome, you should absolutely finish it
I quite enjoyed playing the game. I was a little lost in the beginning as I always forget to check out the descriptions xD but that is my bad. I really love the art style, I'm just afraid some of it blends too much into each other. Overall a very sweet game, good job!
Yeah, I find myself forgetting to read the description on alot of the entries xD then i get in the game and have to double back! storm13cloud did all the art tweaks and shaders. We plan on an art update after the jam.
Thanks for the feedback!
So, the game looks like pretty solid, though it’s missing an end-game and a tutorial. The two gameplay modes work nicely and complement each other well. If you were to create a larger game from this, I’d buff the turrets, and add some variety to them.
I like the art style a lot, solid work with the shaders and art theme!

Thanks! Obviously the base art credit goes to Kenney but storm13cloud was the brilliant mind behind the art tweaks and shaders. Theres even a really cool shader that is supposed to be on the enemy base but the version of Godot we used didnt export it properly. In the next update we plan on fixing the bugs from this release (visual and gameplay) and then expand from there.
Thanks again for the feedback!
Solid fun! Bullets were a little hard to see on the brown floor, could have stood to make them pop out a bit more. Impressive use of the artpack, you really made great looking unique sprites from it and gave the game a consistent artstyle. Turrets seemed pretty useless; low fire rate and fragile. I think you have everything in place to expand, perhaps into a very cool survival building game where you clear out an area and set up defenses while you harvest resources to expand the track more. Great work!
The bullets bothered me as well, definitely something that should get updated when storm13cloud updates the visuals! Storm did all the work with the sprites, his creativity is insane! The turrets definitely need some polishing, we were still trying to find the best cost/health ratio for them. We definitely want to continue this game after the jam! Thanks again for your feedback!
Good entry :) I could place on oil if it was next to track, unsure if that was on purpose.
That was not on purpose, I need to go back and check what i changed that broke that. xD It should be using the same detection that the turret placement uses...
I like the idea of two modes of play. Both feel nice to control. Took me a while to figure out that I needed to reload haha, perhaps some audio cue would help there. The music fits well. Nice, complete game overall. Good luck with future development of this game!
Thanks for the feedback, I agree the only reload indicator is the empty bar on the bottom right and could definitely use some sound and maybe some text telling you to click "R" to reload above the ammo indicator. Music was select by storm13cloud, he did a really amazing job finding, tweaking and implementing the audio for the game!
Cool concept! I always do love to see a mecha game. Would be nice to have some QoL to be able to tear up miss-placed track and maybe hold to place them so you don't have to click as much
We had planned to make it so you have to place individual tracks while flying in plane mode, but we ran out of time and had to upload what we could. We plan to finish the game after the end of the jam which will include a LOT more stuff.
Good to hear! Good luck and make sure to have fun ;)
