I like this idea! Maybe you could polish it further after the jam ends

Glad you liked it ... and yeah i have that plan ... :)

Fun concept, found it difficult to control in browser because the mouse kept escaping the game view.

Developer

Well press "." in the numpad to hide the mouse ... i also accounted that but can't tell why it is happening in browser ...

Interesting concept the controls were a little wonky tho. Z to go backwards is usually S. Other than that was good.

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot ... it is my bad habit to mix "S" and "Z" .... and where is the fun without a bit different control :)

I feel this game is at it's most fun when approached as a speed running platformer style game in first person, especially since the combat is a bit strange.  The trees parting as you move through them was really neat!  I would ditch the XP system forcing players to watch the story cutscene again to play.  The story slides were well animated though, and were worth watching the first time.  It's strange that Z is used for backing up instead of S (French Keyboard perchance?   I have a friend in France with a keyboard setup that feels like this).  If you could tighten up the controls a bit, and focus on dodging and jumping this could actually be a tight little first person platformer.  Still, good work, and I like the overall aesthetic!  :)

The 3D aspect is really cool and creative, but gameplay-wise, I wasn’t able to damage the skeletons and the movement was too floaty. I also didn’t like the XP system where you have to either play the earlier levels or re-watch the cutscene to regain enough to play the later levels if you failed; I understand that you want a way for players to have a challenge or stay engaged but I’m sorry to say that this type of practice must absolutely be discouraged in game development. It’s a good effort, and I like the style of it, I can see that this game has some potential if the gameplay and game design had more focus. Keep it up!

Well my target was to make the player feel like getting something in the game so i added XP system....actually i was practicing the save system in Godot so ended up with this .... thanks a lot i will keep that in mind :)

Movement is bit difficult, but like the 2d/3d idea, good job

Nice job on going 3d! I like the use of the assets and the menu/game gui was pretty neat! You could add a fog effect like all the other 3d games, it gives a nice atmosphere! Also the sound was kinda building up, so i had to turn down my speakers, perhaps a setting for that should be added! Anyways,it was a great game, 4 stars well done!

Thanks a lot and yeah i don't know that much of game+music .... i will try to improve that thing :)

the game is cool but the sound is kinda overlapping.

Developer(+1)
