Very good game, the idea and the implementation, I join the recommendations of the colleagues, great job
Thanks for the feedback. I am happy that you enjoyed it.
I love the retro feel! Took me a while to get used to the movement controls, overall great work!
Thanks for the feedback. I plan on improving the game. Working on the visuals more and such.
It is a great game and a good use of pixel art style. i miss high score and it's kinda hard to move and see what around
Oh ... I didn't have enough time to add a highscore. Next time!
just came to see if you kept the godot logo bullets but this is really fun i just wish i could see where i was
I did keep them :D
Nice sound track.
Took me a while to understand what I was supposed to do lol, J for shooting is pretty unintuitive. Next time try to make the mouse click shot :D
Feeling of retro is strong with this one though ^^
Sure thing! I plan on adding a configuration screen where you can change the key bindings. My idea was to imitate a NES controller but I forgot to change the Arrow keys to WASD :D
This game is super awesome, it feels super nostalgic, like an Atari game
I love it!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I was going for that retro feel.
You made an excellent job! :3
Would you play my game?
Sure!
I enjoy the concept of the game, as well as the look and controls!
Happy you enjoyed it!
I was not expecting a 3D space represented by pixel screen! Pretty well done!
Thank you for playing! Your feedback is appreciated. Glad you liked it.
I think somebody killed me from behind cause there was nothing on the display and it was sudden death. I think it could turn out to be a seat little arcade game so keep working on it :)
Since a lot of people are complaining about this ... it is a bug in the game :D A jet fighter will kill you if it touches you from behind. Whoops. That is one of the joys of Game Jams. Thanks for playing!
Baaaad jets ;)
I agree with the others, it is kind of hard to see what’s going on around you.
Aside from that, the low resolution aesthetic works really well for this kind of game, feels very nice.
Out of personal interest: Some of the sound effects in your game sound a lot like they are coming from a TIC-80 fantasy console (I’ve made several games for it). Did you by any chance use a TIC-80 to generate them?
I was going to add a radar but ran out of time.

I think you did a great job with the art style and music, and I thought the gameplay felt good too! My main complaint is that I felt like I kept dying to bullets that I didn't see. I usually just faced forward unless I saw planes on my right or left, but that led to me getting shot from behind a bunch. I feel like the game would be greatly improved with some sort of minimap or some mechanic to look behind you. I really think that this game is solid though, good work!
Thank you for your feedback. I couldn't add all the features I wanted as I ran out of time. I didn't have the full 72 hours to work on the game.
The game is very juicy and engaging! Although not sure how it fits the theme
Thank you for playing.
The theme was not required as per the jam rules. Only the 2-frame animation limit.
Oh ok didn't know that. Probably read it and didn't remember. If you can please play my game and leave a rating and maybe a review. Thanks in advance!
Now the game works perfectly! I liked the art style, evoquing old times. I could maybe see a score counter so I can try to beat my scores and maybe some way to know my life (if I have any and it's not a one hit kill, I'm not sure). But overall, well done!
Glad you enjoyed it. I will definetely update the game after the jam. Will leave you a reminde.
Well made, great job! A few things that would have improved my experience:
1. Shooting from left and right (you can never have too much firepower)
2. A kill counter/Score meter or some idea of how I am doing
3. Some kind of Hud telling stuff
Otherwise, very well made, took me back to my Snes days :)
Thanks for the feedback. I will try to update the game after the Jam.
Lovely game! I really like the sound design and the music, which accompanies the game well!
Though I think the game looks a little blank at the moment, some UI elements (such as the number of remaining enemies), or later on even gun upgrades can be even more fun! Thanks for making a nice game! very well done.
Thank you for your feedback. I was going to add a boss, a submarine enemy and different color combination sky and ground - Air fight above clouds, air fight above the see, etc. Didn't have enough time. I was also planing on adding a cockpit. Will expand the game after the Jam for sure :)
then I'm looking forward to playing the new and improved versions to come!
Unfortunately, the game froze after I saw the first enemy plane. I liked the screenshots and wanted to play it (it had that Star Fox vibe) but couldn't.
So sorry to hear that. I will upload a Desktop version and see what I can do about the web one.
I managed to fix the freeze issue. If you would be so kind as to play the game again, I would very much appreciate it!
First impression - Nice sound! 3 seconds in game froze up. Reloaded the page and game (which takes longer than the progress bar suggests). I play a few other games whilst waiting for the game to load.
Finally loaded 2nd time and froze again after a couple of seconds :(
A shame, as it looks really good and gave me that snes/nes nostaglia feeling.
