Cool concept ⊂(▀¯▀⊂) snake but mouse only, it'd be cool if it was forced into up/down/left/right snapping on a grid depending where your mouse is lol I had fun nonetheless though good job!

A pretty cute little game, well done! I kind of lost track of time for a bit there haha, the music fits the vibe quite well too!

It felt like that "health' bar on the right was dropping down faster the longer you got right? It felt a bit too punishing, e.g. I wasn't really making any mistakes and was hunting down closest mice without boosting and I still died. Also, it felt like boost decreased health faster but I'm not sure if that was the case.. One way to make the game more difficult without decreasing health faster would be by introducing more complex obstacles over time to loop around so the player is more likely to make mistakes.

Good little clean mouse game. Kind of reminded me of snake.io, but you are eating mice that can run away instead of pellets of food lying around.

I think one thing that could be improve is that right now I had to constantly hold down left mouse in order to be able to catch a mouse. I think it could be better if the boost gave you a more significant speed increase but it also cost you a lot more energy to do so. (Or something like that).  That way you would have to really think about risk / benefit before boosting.

But all in all, a solid game jam entry

Fun game, well done! I like the flexibility of the snake and it's responsiveness, it feels good to play, and I love the pixel art.

I can see this being even better with more variety (levels initially smaller, getting larger, interior walls to avoid, tiles that effect movement/stamina, different types of mice etc.)

I think only eating mice and the mouse control fits very well, great job!

Fun little snake game! I liked the energy mechanic as another factor to balance, rather than just the tail length, really made me think about being efficient with my movement
