Thank you for the kind words and for playing!

Cool game, shooting precision was a bit off, interesting take on the theme

Thank you for playing and for the rating!

Altough it was quite easy to get into a "Survive? - No problem!" state, I observed your system a little bit closer and want to appreciate some specific points:

It seemed that you tried to balance the enemy strength regarding their move speed and spawn rate. At least it seemed so and I like that.

The idea of fusing dropped materials into traps is great. Especially due to the fact, that I did not had to learn several reciepes by heart. You made a price list and told me, what I have to pay. What I liked very much was the idea of choosing the levels in the first place instead of leveling up after the first build. Maybe a lifetime for the traps, a duration or a number of usages would have make the game a lot more enduring. A lava trap on Lv5 on the enemy spawn instantly lets you win the game. But hey, classic jam issues, don't worry.

The shooting precision seemed a bit off for me. Did the enemies (specifically the slimes) had smaller hitboxes than their meshes? Or am I just a bad shooter?

Anyway, it was an interesting system and I enjoyed exploring it. Has potential. Good job.

Thank you for playing and for the awesome feedback! I really didn't think the lava traps would be so broken haha, maybe I should  have not leveled up the damage of them XD

About the hitbox, I really should thought more throughly about them, all of them use the same collider size, which will be so wrong for the slime enemies. I'll try to fix all those problems after the jam is over.

Fun game. I found that shooting enemies at certain angles would make it very hard to hit them. I think making enemy hitboxes slightly larger and making the bullets extra big would make it feel better. Overall, good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I'll try to improve the hibox soon the jam is over

Very fun, dodging the enemies felt really satisfying, also i think you should change the movement direction so it corresponds with the camera location whilst also making the enemy hitboxes a bit bigger, as that would make the game a bit more enjoyable in my opinion.

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I totally agree that the hitbox should get some work as well

projectiles were cool , I was just shooting them randomly lol

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! Nice XD! The hitbox issues at least added some difficulty to the game haha

Good concept, but the movement and especially the shooting/enemy hit detection just feels really bad. Could be a really fun game with some work, though.

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! The hitbox was really an issue that I did not feel while developing due to knowing how was done XD. All enemies share the same collider size, which is same as the Capsule and because of that, the fat sphere enemies just wont hit ;-;
I'll update it soon as the jam is over

Pretty interesting map building game, graphic is obviously in prototype phase, but it's 3 days jam and core mechanics pretty interesting. Good job! Hope you'll make some updates for the game I wish there was some crispy animations or models.

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! My artistic side of the brain was not working right at the time XD, I'll try to update it once the jam is over

fun game! i like the concept, but again, maybe some more sounds would have tied it in. also, in playing the game i found the short enemies were a 50/50 shot on killing

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! The hitbox for the enemies was all the same as the capsule, just the model changed, which I just realized that this was the problem all along haha XD

The concept is really cool and looking at other images it seems like the room can get really fun. But I found myself confused by the UI and controls, and the bullets sometimes seemingly missed. Otherwise, I think that this game can be even greater with just a few adjustments!

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I'll definitely try to fix the hitboxes after the jam is over!

Cool stuff. The lava traps are way too powerful. I reached wave 12 and just stood in a corner watching enemies die the moment they spawn =D

Having some sound effects when enemies get hit and die would make killing and hitting them more satisfying. Other than that the game is really fun. Good job!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! Throughout the development I just did not think this through XD

My initial idea was to having the player be hit as well, Cylinder enemies to put off the fire traps and Sphere/Slime enemies to put off ice traps, but I was having some issues with how I done it and just removed at the end haha

Was fun to seeing you guys braking the design

This gameplay has great scalability, and I really like the idea. However, it feels a bit counterintuitive that the character's movement direction doesn't correspond to the direction of the buttons. It might be better to perform a coordinate transformation. Sometimes, the bullets don't hit the target I aimed at. Overall, the game has potential, and it would be even more interesting with further optimization.

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! Defintely the hitbox need a lot of work to get it right :D
