Kudos to the developers for creating a visually stunning game! The graphics were impressive, and the UI design was top-notch. I also appreciated the clever use of HTML, CSS, & Javascript. It was a truly enjoyable experience!
Very fun, well made and love the usage of the limitation in different ways in your submission great work!
Really impressive work here (especially for pure HTML, CSS, and JS)! Everything is ultra-polished, and although the gameplay loop is simple, I found myself having a lot more fun than I initially expected. I think an expanded and clarified upgrade system would be a great way to take this to the next level. Awesome work!
Wow, you made this all with CSS and Js? Kudos to you my friend! AND you made it FUN! I tried to beat my highscore a lot of times haha!
Thanks for the nice comment! Glad you enjoyed it :D
omg making game from scratch is hard but you made something more than cool , great work :)
Thanks for playing! :D
Nice game, visuals were on point! after wave 8 gets really hard XD, not sure if is possible to go past it, but nice use of limitation! Great work!
Cool game, the visuals are very good and the simplicity of the gameplay captivates, but the topic is touched upon conditionally
Thanks for playing! What do you mean by touched upon conditionally?
Saying that the bullets are the result of solar fusion does not mean that the game is about fusion, and the restriction is respected, like it's a planet, it means that it has an environment and you must save it. To make a game by completing the challange of jam in a narrative way means to make it conditional, because if you replace the planet and the rays of the sun with something else, then this game does not correspond to the theme and limitations.
pretty good presentation and idea. the gameplay wasn't really my cup of tea but overall good!
Cool idea! I managed to get to wave 7.
Very enjoyable. the graphics and especially the UI were very nice, and excellent use of the limitation!
Great clean and simple UI, well done! Fun gamplay mechanics reminding me of Vampire Survivors.
Super impressed by the graphic and UI elements being so smooth, but the game was just too slow for me to really have fun with personally. Neat idea, though! :3
Thanks for playing!
Really great game: interesting concept, good gameplay, good visuals, and nice music. The only complaints I have are these. There should be an option to turn the shaking off on the solar flares, since it kinda messed with me a bit while playing. Also the tokens and recovery effects are kinda underwhelming, which in turn, makes it pretty difficult to stay alive for any long period of time. Pretty good overall.
Thanks for playing, and those are some good points - I'll look to fix and balance things some more based on feedback after the jam ends.
Very cute game, with a lot a game feel. Came to rate and ended up playing a whole lot of rounds cause of the simple but compelling Gameplay loop.
If i I had to say something, iId say that investing in tokens feels a bit underwhelming cause the ozone recovering is a bit on the weaker side. But overall, very fun experience
Thanks for playing! After the jam I'm going to do some balancing based on feedback I've received, I'll definitely buff Ozone recovery/science :D
What's up with research tokens? I have no idea how to spend them or what they do. Otherwise this was a very novel concept and i appreciated the smooth artwork. Check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
Basically, the more research tokens you have, the more ozone you recover when you take that upgrade. Investing in science increases research tokens per round. It's all about the ozone - i tried to keep it as simple as possible but i was struggling with how to get that idea across simply. Thanks for playing!
Nice idea for a game, and good execution! The juice (flashes, shake, etc.) really added to it. Nice work!
Really like the concept! Made it to wave 6. Wish I could spend more tokens each level.
You get more tokens each level if you invest in science; thanks for playing :D
I meant that at a time, I can only invest in a single upgrade. I would like to upgrade multiple items and spend all my tokens :)
Ah ok, yeah I used some confusing language by accident here. The research tokens are all spent when you recover ozone, and it relates to how much ozone is recovered, they don't have anything to do with the amount of upgrades.
I couldn't think of another thing to call them; this is explained if you hover over the upgrades, but from seeing people play the game it seems most people don't read the subtext so I'll make it more clear after the jam.
Thanks for your submit! Nice game, make it to 10 wave. Concept of saving earth really well hitted.
