Like the concept and found it funny that the shotgun shot confetti. Though the platforming felt a bit stiff and frustrating sometimes.
The Design Is cute. Level Design Is pretty cool as well!
Thank you!
The tutorial and title were probably my favourite parts of the game: the reveals are great!
Thanks!
nice liked the shotgun just throwing confetti in the air scaring the poor ghost hunters into the pits of death. The only issue I ran into was jumping over one of the spikes that one to be exact the rest had no issues with took me a few tries to clear it.
yeah, i found that jump to be quite hard too :/ i should remove that third set of spikes
thanks for the feedback!
Really cool and unique mechanic. Levels are well designed and fun to play. This is one of my favorites so far.
Thank you!!
Just watched the recording of your stream, thanks for playing my game! i got some great feedback :D
The best use of shotgun shot I ever seen. Clean and polished game with interesting gameplay!
Thanks!!
Really fun and well made game! Probably my favorite of the jam thus far!
The flashlight effect is beautiful and the level design is great! Love the tutorial, feels really polished and professional.
One little thing is some of the gaps are a bit of pain to jump? Other than that I think it's great, and I'd really like to see it expanded on at some point! :)
Thanks!! I definitely agree about the jumps, i kept missing them during testing but didnt wanna make them too short in case the enemies crossed them without dying, i think they actually dont walk more than a block or two across a gap as they fall though, so i could have made the gaps shorter
This is probably the most fun and creative use of shotgun I have ever seen!
I really think you have to spend some time on this game, add mission map savings, some bosses and you're good to go to some markets!
Thank you!!
The puzzle and execution felt really good. The humor in the mechanics was pretty great (the confetti gave me a chuckle).
I have to mention your level design for the introduction. It was so satisfying to start out like that, introducing multiple mechanics at the same time.
Also, about the usage of flashlights throughout the game. That mechanic was really well done and added a lot to the puzzle.
I really love the game, great job!
Thank you! I wanted to make the tutorial as short as possible but also let the player figure out how to do each thing in a safe, hopefully less frustrating situation :)
your feedback is very much appreciated and i'm going to have a look at your game now :D
Extremely creative concept! The game felt very polished, great style and sound design.
Thank you!
Really incredible job! Love the UI and use of lights to guide the player - rather than a text "this is how to play" tutorial. Really polished for a game jam!
Thank you so much! I always found walls of text were difficult to understand without being able to put what you learnt into practice right away
I'm gonna have a look at your game now!
I love the way you made the tutorial. Plus, scaring the ghost hunters and luring them to their death is such a creative mechanic. Love the pixel art too.
Thanks! I wanted to really focus on a tutorial that taught the player the mechanics in a safe environment, because i always get annoyed at games that kill me in the tutorial haha
Really well made game. The concept is extremely creative, the game is not too buggy from my perspective and it feels really polished!
thanks! i had some problems with the player clipping through the floor at the start of each level, so your y position is frozen for the first second of each level, which feels kinda bad tbh but is better than falling out the map i guess lmao
I really liked your game! its one of the most fun ones ive played in this jam
This feels like a finished steam game xD I liked every aspect of it, the level design, the artwork, the core concept, well done!
Thank you so much!! I haven't really made a finished game before and this is my first gamejam so I'm really happy to hear that! Your game is really well made too :D
That's awesome! You must have had excellent planning in order to have finished this in 3 days. Its my first ever game jam as well, I hope we can team up in a future game jam
Thanks! I have had quite a bit of practise over the last 6 or 7 months but i never actually finished a project. As for time management I basically just came up with an idea while in the shower after the limitation was released, and just went with even if it wasn't fully thought out yet, to give me as much time as i could to actually make the thing :D
Yours is impressive too for a first game jam, one thing i noticed in yours was the bat's animations, they looked really fluid and impressive
I see, shower ideas turn out to be the best sometimes xD
That's a really fun game. It's really well polish, and really fun to play. I really like the way the tutorial was presented. Just a thing I think you guys forget is that a quit button in the pause menu, had a small struggle while closing the game 🤣
Anyway, wish you guys best luck at the jam.
Oh no! Totally forgot about that hahaha, thanks for letting me know :) I wish you luck too!
