The art on the page was really different from the game itself, which I thought was pretty funny when I first loaded in. But the game is a great little action game. I liked the T-Posing Oogie Boogie in the middle hahaha. Very fun - great job!
I had no idea what to expect going into this, I thought it was going to be more atmospheric then I was shocked by the multicolored spiders. The spiders are really neat looking though, funny how Oogie Boogie is the boss.
The game itself definitely caught me by surprise with the tone of the opening but I had a great time and cleared it with a singular heart left. Good stuff, would be great if your shots always just went the way you were facing, though.
The spiders looked really cool with the lighting effect making them look multicoloured i really liked that!
It was quite difficult to hit anything with the gun though the bullets just kept going over the top of the spiders
Thank you very much! I really wanted to show dark spiders in dark screen, so the light was the main idea.
The shotgun meant to be used for the ghost tho...
At some point you get surrounded by spiders, so you have to dodge them and aim for the boss..... but shhhhh, spoilers!

I had no lag with spider count, so safe to say on high end rigs the game runs well. Managed to kill the boss too ;)
Cool concept, would be neat with some enemy varieties and more abilities to squash those spiders!

The art for the intro is really nice, gotta love the whole charcoal effect. It feels very removed from other entries in that way, and in a good way.
The game itself was a race against how much my graphics card could take the number of spiders that were spawning before it overheated and exploded, hah!
Yeah, the graphics limitation is the biggest issue for this game.
The main idea was to create the organic timer by increasing the number of enemies. Sadly, this number of enemies with that low optimization leads to lags and freezings :/
I will count that down for the next GameJam tho!
