Cool game, mitigating the influence of the red while maximizing the blue is a neat challenge, the hard difficulty was an intresting puzzle.

Thanks :D

Art style and direction made me nostalgic for the NES era, music too. Thanks for the throwback!

unique puzzle game, very fun. the easy and normal mode were pretty easy but the hard mode was a good difficulty

Developer

Thanks - glad you found a bit of a challenge in the hard mode!

The idea is very interesting! but it's very confusing when I play, don't understand how the unit move.

Developer

Thanks -

Yeah, the controls can be a bit twitchy. It helps if you keep your focus on the ‘blue’-guy (which is the one you’re controlling; the rest are just copying), and press the button in the direction you want to move on the flat screen (i.e. up, down, left or right).

There’s some things that were supposed to make it more intuitive (like if you hold down a direction you keep moving in it, even if you’ve rotated around so it’s technically the “wrong” direction) - but I think those tweaks have mostly just confused people!

Very polished, perfect use of the limitation, amazing idea, and actually fun! Perfect score!

Developer

Oh wow, thanks :)

Wow. This game is quite a complete feature for any retro gaming device or even the handheld devices.
The limits and core gameplay are solid. Multiplayer is also possible, I guess.

Well done.

Thanks - glad you liked it!

That was super fun! I loved the concept of it and how you control both yourself and the enemy which works around the limitation.

Developer

Thanks :D

Great concept and - thought it was too easy until I loaded up the hard level and then had a great time! Love the work you put into the menus as well and making everything a cohesive style. Very well done game.

Hah- thanks; and glad the hard level gave you a bit of a challenge :D

This was a well-implemented idea, the controls felt a bit weird switching on each edge, but it feels good. It could make for a fun puzzle game :) good job.

Developer

Thanks - yeah; I couldn’t find a control scheme that wasn’t qerid at some point :/

Interesting idea for a puzzle game. Love me some pico-8.

It was a bit confusing how the directions changed when you release a directional button on a different side. It would also be nice if it could figure out when a match is won or lost even before all the edges have been colored in.

Developer

Thanks :D

Yeah- I tried to make it so you kept going in the same direction until you let go, and then the ‘true’ direction of movement followed; but it always ended up being unintuitive in some way.

And yeah- although first I’d have to work out how to work out when a game is over :D

i'd love to play this with friends if you ever make it multiplayer !!!

Developer

Thanks - I’ll have to look into that :D

Wow I really like simplicity of this game! And how you implemented the limitation was very clever!

Developer

THanks :D

Plain and simple. This could easily be turned into a local multiplayer! great concept. The 3rd level was kinda unbeatable tho. or maybe its just me being a noob lol. good job!

Developer

Thanks :)

In theroy you should always be able to beat a level; but the randomness does mean sometimes you get a really evil one :/
