I really like it. The music and everything felt so smooth. I also really liked how nice concepts were introduced. My favorite so far 👍

How come you think of frogs? Were the frogs coming from our itch.io profile pics?

Composer of the game here: glad you liked it! The frog was a nice adition, everyone loves frogs, and in a game about jumping, giving him a bubble of oxygen and make him orbit planets felt right! TheWaffi did an amazing job creating lil dude Frederik

Thank you for the comment! We thought of frogs after we started developing the gameplay. I was making a physics system revolving around the idea of the player using a leap ability to get around... And so I suggested to make them a frog, and the idea stuck.

It's incredible, the puzzles are fun, the mechanics are interesting, I like how there's always something happening around you (which I'm assuming is supposed to double as hints).

My only real complaint is that when I first started the game I wan't quite sure what I needed to do, congrats for the game, you guys did great!

Developer

Thank you. The other frogs are placed in a way to teach you about the game mechanics, so that the player can hopefully figure them out without being told. We thought it may be best not to tell the player what to do at the start. That way, we can make the game more about discovering things for yourself.

Really liked the feel and look of this game, and I love frogs so that's a plus. Really fun figuring out the perfect way to send your frog to get to the next lillypad

Ty so much we love frogs

Another FROG enthusiast *tips fedora* great game. Only comment is theres a few lilypads that dont register as checkpoints and the arrow directions for gravity are a bit confusing.

Developer

Thanks for the comment. None of the lily pads register as checkpoints; you always go back to the start of the level when you reset. What do you mean by the arrow directions?

omfg frogs (2 jams ago)

great gam how do you even do this in 2 days

good job

I forgot the theme was frogs 2 jams ago, we went with a frog because the player was jumping for the whole game. I suppose everyone on the team worked hard (Waffi's computer broke at the start, but he just drew the whole thing on his phone) and we ended up with a complete game.

WOW! The best one I played so far. Great mechanics, very interesting concept, I managed to beat it, difficulty level was very good. The graphics is wonderfull, great pixel art skills! The frog astronaut is so adorable, I want to have one of this in my home <3

first entry i'll give full points, good graphics, really strong use of theme and implementation of original mechanics, so far this is my winner

Thank you for the kind words. We all had a lot of fun making the game.

LOVE this one! I used to play the heck out of Angry Birds space and this is just like it. Navigate through gravitational pulls(quite stronger than the ones you'd see in angry birds space) and pushes and get the leaf checkpoint(which at times aren't checkpoints, not completely sure that's intentional). The game wasn't hard, on the last level my frog bumped into the planets and by pure chance got to the starfly, so I didn't experience the full last level.

Developer(+2)

Thank you. The lily pads are not meant to be checkpoints, restarting is supposed to send you back to the start of the level. I did this to help combat players attempting the same jump millions of times with slight variations, but instead have to consider some of the jumps. It also lets players see how far they have come when the parts they struggled on become easy.

Yeah that makes sense! Wasn't initially clear to me.
