I definitely dig the graphics, music, and setup. The game reminded me of the Rebuild series. I was obliterated on my first attempt :p

Very interesting.  I'd say in terms of difficulty it's fine to have a hard game like this but I would of liked it to be more optional more frequently.   The first time I played I got like 7 or 8 ! tiles right off the bat so it didn't really feel like I had much choices.  As others have said besides that a better tutorial is definetly needed.

This is a really neat one! I beat it on my second try, but it certainly wasn't easy - I was on the verge on losing, it felt like. I thought the difficulty was in a good spot, especially given the eldritch kind of inspirations behind it. It very much should feel next to hopeless, and it felt like you did that while making it always feel just possible.

The ending did confuse me a tiny bit, since the win text is pretty similar to the lose text at the very beginning. It was neat to see a game with so much more writing than most jam games, even if it meant that the game was very text-heavy.

If there were more time for features, I'd love to see threats evolving over time instead of being random each day, and maybe even being able to take on multiple threats per day. It could be really interesting to have another set of decisions - do I take out some easy threats, or do I make sure the harder threat is taken care of now before it gets even harder and becomes critical? But obviously that would create a whole slew of balancing difficulties beyond the scope of a jam, haha.

Good work!

Really cool game! I suck at this kind of game but it was really immersive!

Damn, it is a really hard game, i  couldn't beat it, still the music and the ambient feels realy cool and the depressing atmosphere is really a great touch for a retro game. Cool concept, it felt like "60 seconds" but with a darker aura.

Nice game. I didn´t play that much because I´m dumb and kept losing so I don´t have that much opinions but I would have liked a better tutorial. It´s a game jam tho

Developer

I agree on the tutorial. Perhaps went a bit too ambitious this time, especially considering the resolution constraints, but thanks for checking it out anyways :)

The concept for your game is really interesting and fun to play. I like how you have to strategize which missions to pick and with who. I would also like to see better art like maybe you can see what each character looks like or maybe the island can be more detailed. But other than that, this is complete and fun game, good job!

Really nice game! I just wish there was a little more information around what the icons crew icons are, but I enjoyed it anyway. Nice job!
