Relaxing little game! I included it in my LowRezJam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Did you work in a team?
I got the music and sound effects from opengameart. But other than that, it was a solo project.
Was the resolution a challenge?
The game I submitted to last year's LOWREZJAM had some visual bugs, such as bleeding pixels and the camera not updating correctly. I'm happy that I've managed to solve those issues during this year's game jam, thanks to Caliber Mengsk's example of the render texture.
Even though this game has some bugs as well, I'm happy with the result. :)
What did you learn?
I have to complete the game in my head before I start building it. The idea I had for this year's LOWREZJAM did not have a satisfying ending to it, but I decided to start building it anyway. I realized pretty early on that I would be unable to finish the game the way I originally intended, so I decided to double down on the only thing I managed to add to that point: fishing.
Originally I wanted to make use of the "False reality" with the "gone wrong" theme. The game was supposed to give the player the idea that it was just about fishing (the reality). But then the world would fade away slowly, seemingly due to graphical glitches. After the world had faded, the player would find themselves on a spaceship, where alien scientists were studying the player. By solving puzzles, the player would progress through the spaceship.
That's how far I got with the original idea. I was unable to come up with an ending that I felt was fitting. And so the fishing game with a twist, became a fishing game without a twist! :P
