Resolution was a really big challenge for me. I had issues with lots of stuff like canvas GUI.
What did you learn?
I have lots of exprerience making low res game. What I have learnt is never make 64x64 game 😅

Fun game, reminded me of working outside and having to dodge bees . Though I didn't have a dog to protect ;) I had one game where the dog glitched outside and didn't come back in the 'yard'
Neat idea, wish those bees or whatever would stop attacking my dog! The bounds did make some things challenging, as I found the hearts that dropped often dropped outside the bounds so I couldn't get them. :(
Cool gameplay mechanics. It was lil bit hard for me to get used to but after that I really enjoyed the game. Only problem was, when I threw the ball outside the boundary, the dog and enemines could go there I but get stuck. It'be better if the ball and the dog both had colliders with the boundary. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed it. Goodjob.
Thanks for your feedback :). I leave boundaries open on purpose. Otherwise you got stuck easily and it adds a Lil bit more strategy.
This has the core of some fairly interesting gameplay. There is a strategy to when you need to throw the ball to get the dog to run away from the enemies.
I did find it difficult to time my sword swings to avoid getting hit the by the enemies. I also noticed that if you throw the ball outside the bounds of the world, the enemies will still go after the dog but you can't get to him to fight them off.
The art would look better if it were more stylized as well. Some of these programs do this anti-aliasing thing, and it makes colors less strong. The text in this game would look better as solid colors.
Thanks for your helpful response. Borders are the part of the strategy. I left it uncollidable for others. About the art style I will definitely note that.
I like the idea! Whenever the dog would be attacked, I'd just throw myself into the group of monsters and start flailing, which resulted in my own death multiple times haha. Throwing the ball and swinging the sword felt really good. Fun to play!

Fun idea, cool game. as pencilgame said I think there is one issue with the text but apart from that the game is very fun!

The bone throwing mechanic made this game for me. I love the "save your dog" theme too.
A super fun concept. Worth expanding on, I think. The art work of the pest being only 3 pixels big really let my imagination run wild. Love it.
Edit: I actually went back and played it again. Very fun. I think there's an issue with your text being inside the game window, though. And not sure if it's technically 64x64 since it's not a square aspect ratio? But a fun mechanic for sure!
Thank you for your feedback :). I had trouble with texts and I know hard to believe but I forgot to change resolution settings. I didn't have my time (since I was going to vacation). I barely had time to finish and balance the game. I know it is unfair to have bigger resolution. I'm sorry for that. Other than that every sprite has little pixels like 8x8 and 4x4.
Still a dope game! :)
