I was so sure this world was shallow, but maybe my inexperienced eyes just couldn't see its depths...

Did you work in a team?
Yes! There were four of us, each completing different tasks. It was an amazing experience seeing each of the parts come together to make a whole.

Was the resolution a challenge?
For this project, we had a lot of fun experimenting with different methods of story-telling while limited to the 64x64 pixel resolution. You can see this in the game by the use of images and diagrams instead of text, and narration that helps adds personality to the character.

What did you learn?
Learning how to work as a team and trusting in the skills and talents of each team member was a truly rewarding experience, and we believe those skills will help us as we continue our game development journey!

What an interesting experience! I included it in my LowRezJam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Nice little game! Art and sound design was great.  Player movement felt snappy and natural as well.  I liked the narrative as well.  I do wish it had been a little bit longer, but it is a jam game which is understandable.  And also it's length made it easy to finish and get on to the next game so it was probably pretty appropriate for a game jam.  Definitely enjoyed my time with it.

Very sweet little game! The movement is incredibly well done and feels super smooth which is impressive considering the lowrez restrictions. The audio is really good, I love the sound effects, they are very pleasant. The game has a nice and simple story to it which is delivered really well. I wish it was a bit longer because I really enjoyed it while playing. Well done!

I’m glad you like it! We tried to keep the game short and sweet 😊

Very charming little narrative game! The player movement felt great, which is surprisingly hard to pull off.

It was super short and linear however, and I never felt challenged anywhere. Maybe a small puzzle or platforming section would've helped playtime!

The visuals and sound design were good quality though, and the game had a nice feel. The player character was very jittery on my end though, maybe a firefox browser issue?

I agree, we’ll definitely experiment with more game mechanics in the future!
