I really like the ambience of the song reflect the game state XD
at first I feel like lonely and sad then when I managed to get the hang of it and start planting trees
I feel that the song give a sense of hope
but then the torch man came and destroy the whole trees
managed to get heart upgrade but didn't have time to use it since I already lost so much

This is so polished! I love the power-ups, but the pressure of the waves coming was too real to me.. I was button-mashing the toggling which is obviously a bad plan.

This was amazing to play. I really love your sprirte style, and the music also maybe a positive impact on the game :) The clouds you make drift across the screen also looked beautiful and gave a lively feel to the game. I wish i could move the crosshair with the mouse and then only control the wombat with wasd :)

Wow, it was intense in the end when I realised abilities do not drop anymore!
The gameplay and pacing feel good. Every new ability I've unlocked was useful and changed my tactic a bit. The fact that the normal attack pushes enemies back this far was a bit annoying. It felt weird that I was invincible in the beginning, but then I've got used to it.
It would really help to be able to use different abilities with different buttons, constantly cycling through them was hard not in a fun way.
I really hoped that as a wombat I would be able to do the legendary butt attack, but the fact that I play as a wombat was not relevant to the gameplay. I did not really get what animals (?) enemies were supposed to be. And why are they after my tree? And why am I protecting it? I am a burrow animal, I am that not interested in trees in the first place.
Overall I've enjoyed playing it to the end, thank you for the game!
I'm getting 2 different fmod errors depending on if I run the exe or if I extract and run love against the files directly.
Thanks for the feedback -- I believe the fmod issue has been resolved on windows and the game has been updated
Gameplay's ok but it doesn't really fit 'plan' and can be a bit awkward to learn, graphics fit, same goes for audio, mood is nice. overall 3.5/5
