I think if we can see the effect that will be activated before playing the card, it will be easier to understand

it's a fun game but might be locked to death fate if you don't have diamond card to retrieve cards from deck:'

i was a little confused like the others on the gameplay but the music was fantastic, I like the art style, and everything was polished well.

This is really nice! Took me a while to get used to planning how to recover cards. The square cards, to me, was a nice touch since it made the best use of my small 12" laptop screen.

WOW so great job, I only would say i would like rounds to be a bit faster, But it is absolute gorgeous!

Loved the mood with the nice graphics and sound! Wasn't sure about the rules and sometimes it could've used a bit more feedback on what you can or can't do (eg. took a while to realize how to discard cards) but once that feedback is in this could be an amazing game! GREAT JOB finishing the game jam!!

I haven't the slightest idea how to play this. BUT the graphics, sounds, card shuffling, are very good. Need a beginner teaching mode.

I loved the look of this game! Quite polished. The square cards are boss. I couldn’t quite figure out how to play though, I got through a few rounds, killed some jacks, but alas, I’m not deck building player so I didn’t understand what I was doing.

sickk!!! i can't lie i had a really hard time figuring out how the interface works, i thought i had to click my cards and then click on the jack - the black box doesn't explain itself and i had to sit and wait through the rules to see if there was an explanation of the inputs.. wish you could click though the rules!! but that's nitpicks for something that was made in a short time - those are things i'd suggest for a post-jam version, which i'd love to see >:)

 this is dope and has lovely polish for a jam game!! im coming back to play this one more

took me a minute to figure out what I was doing (and a wikihow page on how to play regicide) but this is very nice!

I love the graphics, the shader and music gave the game a huge boost to the game's enjoyment :)

Sometimes I need to wait for text and animation, it would be nice to have an option to skip them/ffw them.

That said, I had a blast playing it! Congrats on the submission :)

I'm a big fan of card games, so this is right up my alley. The gameplay loop is slightly addictive, and I enjoy the strategic layer with which cards you use and when. If this was a commercial game, I'd happily buy it. c:

Card games are not my strong side in any way, when that is said i really you have a cool vibe in the game, nice sprites and music. It feels good - so i guess if you are into card games this is pretty cool :) Good job :)

Cool Graphics, Animations and music!

I haven't played Regicide so I can't compare its' gameplay with the original gameplay, but the game looks and plays really well!

I could also see myself playing this for hours! xD
