Great atmosphere and art. The mechanics are pretty clear except for the buttons. I think they could be made a little more clear. Nice work!
A very strange game. I liked the characters and the graphics in general but it need more work on those collisions and sound. Nice work!

This was super cool! I loved the art (especially the sudden zoomed out screens with the cliffs), and the gameplay was really unique. The way you got the thread to be all coiled was cool too - small detail but it added a lot of animation to the scene. Definitely lots you could do with writing an intriguing stor to go with it. Really great job!
The art style is lovely, the story telling is great, I had fun with the tether mechanic and enjoyed being in the world.
Eerie atmosphere - check.
A cat that talks nonsense - check.
Sword & Sworcery vibes - check.
Realistically looking thread - check.
Overall feeling about the game - very nice!
Solid entry for narrative and having a distinct art style, but sometimes lacked clarity in what was and was not interactable with the mechanics.
I liked the take on the theme, very creative. Sometimes the thread just disappeared so I could freely walk anywhere but it was an interesting experience. The artstyle is also pretty cute.
Thanks for playing. I've fixed the thread disappearing bug, I will update the game after the Jam.
Really nice game! Enjoyed it a lot. Very creative!
The atmosphere and level design were great i loved the pixel art of the game,i wished to know more about the story and this is one of my favorite games in this jam so far!
Can't get enough of the atmosphere you've crafted here! I really want to see where the story goes and get more cryptic dialogue from that cat.
Honestly mate this is probably one of the coolest games I have seen this jam!
Be proud! I loved the idea of being on a type of leash and the idea of extending the thread through the spools is so cool I just wish there was more to play!
One of the games strengths I feel is the absolutely beautiful audio and visuals, the character and the cats design almost as if ripped out of Alice in Wonderland yet still unique and wonderful - or should I say wanderful?
All in all I loved this game and can't wait to see where you take it! The world, the bell, the sounds, the art, everything is a wonderful sight to see you having taken such care with!
Alas I must give criticism D: as much as I don't want to but I hope it will at least help! The tile sprites that refer to the walls I feel are too similar looking to the ground sprites, typically a clear distinction between the two is important. Other than that, I only ran into one bug where the tether wouldn't render.
Final thoughts, I loved this game! Great job!
Thank you for the thoughtful feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the game.
I agree about the sprites, one of my todo tasks was differentiate walls from ground tiles a little more. Alas, I ran out of time. And yeah I tried a quick fix for the tethers disappearing, it worked in most cases but in a few situations it can still happen.
Well, this surprised me. I'm more a AAA high end graphics FPS game sorta guy, but I quite enjoyed this, and completed it. Simplistic, no explanation necessary, yet fun. Congrats.
I'm very similar XD Apex Legends ftw. Turns out the games I like playing are very different to the games I lke making. I'm glad you enjoyed it though.
Yeah Far Cry series start to end FTW here :)
Great game, I like the thread mechanic and the many levels you have for this experience. The choice of color feel so fitting, and I can only imagine what the story could be based on how this character got there and what are threads coming from. In regards to critique, I would say having the needles position next to the cat is not recommend since it keeps going to the cat dialogue when I'm trying to connect the thread. Also, I wasn't a fan of the loud audio that springs up every time you click on the cat, but that's just a preference. Overall I enjoyed the game and the level designs quite a lot, thanks for making it!
Thanks for the kind words and feedback.
I agree about positioning needles too close to the cat, by the time I'd noticed my mistake I had run out of time to change it. I could have spent a little more time balancing the audio as well.
The level design is quite nice and the puzzle challenges are not too hard either. Great game with some good audio and game mechanics.
Great game! I loved the visuals, especially the cool physics on the thread!
Really cool game! It has a very personal feel. The thread mechanic is amazing. Love the art style. Well done on the color palette too. One of my personal favorites this game jam.
Neat little game! The main thread mechanic is fun to play with.
